What's wrong with original stories for the movies?

I forgot there were two of them, I was thinking of the one from DC.

Just realized I haven't heard of her being active, did I miss it or she still in limbo as far as stories go?

A personal opinion can not be wrong, my judgement of the story and how it was done is a personal one. In my opinion Bendis threw a dart against the wall and it landed on Iceman. Like his treatment of Wanda and Tigra, it was poorly planned, executed and resulted in nothing good for the character.

Define "hater"

I can't see anyone in the world accepting this as a well thought out and carefully executed withdrawal. At this point I fear that the US government in it's entirety could be outthought by a team consisting of the Marx Brothers and the Three Stooges.

To the Presidents cut and run speech yesterday afternoon. Kennedy wasn't a saint and he made mistakes, but he didn't run when it got tough. There's a lot of blame to go around over a lot of years, but sadly how we got here is secondary to the fact that we are here. A weak nation, with a weak leader, facing a world of strongmen. I don't think we have much hope.

In a way yes, but not really. We are talking about 1940 America. Women's rights were there, but still not there. Chauvinism was very much the way of the day. But the main reason that Steve got the formula was because of his spirit. A skinny guy with no strength would not give up, no matter what. We saw this in the comics and we saw it in the movies. There he is alone, shield busted, Thanos and his army standing right in front of him and Steve refuses to back down. Peggy would probably have done the same thing, but Peggy Carter did not grow up as a skinny kid in New York during the depression. Think of that New York as portrayed here

This is pretty much the world Steve grew up in. So it wasn't deliberate misogyny as much as it was the way things were back then. Reading anything else into it is projecting modern sensibilities into another time.

I think the big 2 are in danger of going the way of the old Hollywood studios or the old television networks. ABC, CBS and those are still there, but how important are they?
