No public announcement, no social media post, no advertisement, Marcques and all of NuGenesis operated under complete radio silence. He needed no distractions, no misinterpretation and no cultural or societal morals to get in the way of their research. No more than 24 hours have passed after the virus CR-833, otherwise known as Sapien Flu, has been released. It already began to affect massive metropolitan areas such as Gothic City and New York, resulting in a quick reaction in the NuGenesis team. They closed their doors to the public, operating in isolation to pretty contamination, and have prevented their own scientists from leaving.

They have successfully managed to isolate some of the victims in grade-s military containers deep within the ground to study their effects. Marcques observed from afar, wanting to gain an understanding of this mystery virus. "“Sir, you shouldn’t be here. There is a possibility you could get contaminated, and it’s disgusting.” One of his most trusted biologists, Dr. Marie Salok, spoke with a sense of urgency, only to be hushed by a gesture by Marcques. His eyes were fine-tuned on one of the victims, a Latina female. She was in the fetal position, crying and screaming in pain with the rest of the victims, she laid naked (they removed their clothing to better witness the process take place), rapidly losing body fat.

Marcques shifted his attention slightly, to read the biometrics of her vitals before turning back to her. One conclusion was obvious, this virus was man made, its rapid development and unique genetic footprint contradicted with the natural foundation of a virus. So it wasn't evolved but more so created. When, the Latina pained eyes met with Marcques's she seemed to have forgotten her pain, seemingly starring until he shifted his gaze back to the biometrics where the pain returned nearly a hundred fold. He found a small issue with this experiment, besides the virus's existence, three of the victims were registered (and confirmed) mutants. And they were showing signs of deterioration much quicker than the non-mutant, giving him the idea that this was targeted at them specifically.

However, two of the subjects died in the span of his observation, increasing his awareness. "Inject two of the Bio-Humans, and prepare an injection for me as well." Dr. Marie's expression was comprised of shock, fear and worry, which Marcques caught quickly. "Inject the Bio-Humans with CR-833, and and prepare an injection of the NG-BG0 series for me and Mica, I'm not that mad." Adding a little jest at the end, the plan was to test the deterioration of external genetics of NG-BG0-series found in the Bio-Humans against the effects of the Sapien Flu, and to prepare him and the one he loves the most for the worse outcome.
