Pocket Universe Prime

What if instead of Prime, it had been the Pocket Universe Superboy who had gone into Limbo along with Alexander Luthor of Earth-3, Kal -L and Lois Lane of Earth-2? With his vastly longer experience both on his own and with the Legion of Super-Heroes, how would have things changed? Would Luthor have been able to subvert and manipulate him as he did Prime? Or would Superboy have seen through his ruse and thus forced Luthor to change tactics?
