It's funny how people are comparing Luisa to thanos when thanos has actual battle feats. This is truly a troll battle. You mean to tell me Steve Rodgers, someone who could outwit anyone on the team, is losing to a farm girl that has not a single fight scene in the movie?
By getting squished by her or smashed by stuff she throws at him.
You are right though. He is smart so he would need to outsmart her and use the environment or something to get a win. Just like when Spider-Man fought Juggernaut.
This is some real cope here. He was losing. He stopped her for another second and you could see the flash where we was being overpowered so he grabbed the gem.
And again, Luisa was stated multiple times in the movie to be able to move mountains. And let's also not forget she moved that church with zero effort.
