After giving it some thought, I decided to move the deadline to April 25th. Happy to extend it further, if necessary...and if there aren't any objections from the mods.

And yes, it's ok to submit multiple entries. Challenges like this make it difficult to settle on just one concept.

For example, I was initially going to do a "Catwoman steals the Marvel Universe" theme, with Selina wearing various Marvel character accoutrements. But then I thought if Catwoman did that, someone in the Marvel Universe would get pretty miffed and exact revenge. So, the idea of "Black Cat steals the DC Universe" came to mind with Felicia stealing various DC character's gear.

I don't know that I'll have time to do both, but I'll definitely submit one of the two. Leaning towards Black Cat at the moment. We'll see how it goes.

Wow, time flies. One week to go and I still haven't finished my mix & match mayhem character yet. Will try to work on it this weekend ... but I may need to extend the deadline by a few days. Stay tuned!

Ok, the new Showdown is up. Hope everyone can participate.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be successfully executed using these quick and easy instructions:

Step 1: Pick at least 1 character of your choosing. It can be a real life or a fictional character. (Yes, you can use an entire team, if you want.)

Step 2: Pick at least 1 gadget, accessory, doohickey, weapon, thingamajig, vehicle, or item otherwise identified as equipment or paraphernalia typically associated with a different character or universe, real or fictional.

Step 3: Draw the character(s) that you picked in step 1 along with the item(s) that you selected in step 2 as your Show-Off Showdown submission.

For example, if you thought of Batman as your chosen character and a Symbiote suit from Spider-Man/Venom renown as your gadget/doohickey/equipment, then you should draw Batman wearing a Symbiote suit. (Customize as you please, but do try to provide some aspects of the original arachnid design.)

Or maybe the character that you chose was Naruto and the item that you really liked was the Silver Surfer’s surfboard, then draw a picture of Naruto soaring the cosmic space-ways on the Surfer’s surfboard.

Or maybe you’re a big Winnie the Pooh fan and you also think also think he would look awesome with Wonder Woman’s tiara, magic lasso, sword, shield, bracelets and all American bustier, then draw that.

Or maybe you just want to draw a celebrity like Zendaya pumping her Infinity Gauntlet-clad fist in the air while driving the Speed Racer’s “Mach 5” race car. Go for it!

Or maybe drawing the My Pillow Guy in a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader uniform really strikes you. Do it!

Or perhaps the idea of Charlie Brown brandishing one of those Ghostbuster Proton Packs while wearing a Ronald McDonald yellow jumpsuit is more up your artistic alley. Have at it!

Or…or…or…screw it, you get the idea.

The rules are, there are no rules outside of this website’s standard policies. Your imagination is the only limitation. Let it flow and have fun.

The closing date for this challenge is April 18thApril 25^th .

Indulging a bit of whimsy here. I was researching a Marvel character named Shooting Star when this idea popped in my head. In fairness, "Superstar", a similar starry concept, albeit with a Superman symbol on his chest and a cape, also came to mind, but I'll go with this one.

@jatinder: Congratz! Like you said, all of these were great and made it tough to pick just one.
