You just blew my mind with Charles Soule I never even realized he writes every other book. Knew he was on SS/WW and Swamp Thing (still an awesome book) but never knew the rest. Props to him and same to Jeff Lemire, my top writer of the year as well.

Image is on here but not Valiant? They were by far my favorite publisher of 2013, every title they have is way above industry standards.

Should have put Valiant here, but I wanted to keep it to 20 things in the list. I got into valiant last year also with Quantum & Woody, Harbinger, and X-O Manowar. They were my favorite publishers last year also.

Charles SOule, Nick Spencer, and Brian Michael Bendis writes soo many comics every year. They never stop writing.

Though, with the return of Spider-man and Nightcrawler to compete with, it does seem kind of underwhelming..

@oldnightcrawler: Wally is probably a bigger deal than Nightcrawler (I'll be getting the Nightcrawler book but not the Flash one in case your wondering) and Parker was gone for only 1 year. Never the less Parker is the biggest deal then Wally then Nightcrawler.

Also Brett Booth says Wally appeared already and we don't know it yet.

Everyone is coming back in 2014. NExt thing you know, Professor X is back in his wheelchair guiding the X-Men again.

maybe for some. Personally, though I like Wally, he's not a good enough reason to start reading another book. Nightcrawler is, Spider-man might be, even Ted might be, but Wally just isn't.

Nice list. I don't keep up much with comics news (cue the boos and hisses) so this was a nice way to get caught up on some things. I'm pretty psyched that Stephanie Brown is coming back, was hugely fond of Justice League Dark, and think Image will keep making a number of quality books. I'll check out eventual trades of Aquaman.

Awesome list agree with a lot of the stuff except for Daredevil. Him moving to California makes no sense to me and Marvel cancelling a title and then rereleasing it as an issue 1 the next day is just evil.

The only mutant wedding I'm excited about in 2014 is @misteranderson's. He tells me that it's a Shakespeare-themed wedding, so I am going to post hella pictures of him in tights for @samimista and I to giggle at madly later.

I am so stoked for the Nightcrawler comic!! Everyone seems to dog on Claremont [whenever I mention him to my friend Rob, he says, "Oh gosh, oh golly, oh WOW!" Sarcastic butt.], but I've liked everything he's done for Marvel and WIllow (sorry, Sovereign Seven). I guess Robinson is okay. Rob is all gaga for Starman. The rest of your list I don't really know enough about, except that I can drool over Batista shirtless in green body paint in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Also, I'm not looking forward to Batista's return for purposes of drooling as much as I want him to shut down Alberto del Rio. I liked Dos Caras, Jr., but his mainstream persona is poop-on-a-stick.
