I actually read the first issue.......... thought it was meh. Not bad. Still didn't like the new LOBO.

Plus Green Arrow lost the best creative team he had in a long time.

I personally don't think Cyborg is interesting enough to get a solo series yet. But that's just my opinion.

@madeinbangladesh: It's fine to have a favorite version of the character, but this Lobo is still essentially the same as old Lobo, just with a more correct appearance.

I haven't read any comics with old man Cap in them but is he at least bad @$$ or just a grumpy old man?

From the first issue it didn't feel like much.

@madeinbangladesh: Like I said, give it 3 issues before you decide, they will give you a good feel for Lobo (although issue 2 was kinda meh).

SO Sad. All these character going through it. The Struggle is real. I'd put the transformers on the list to. They no longer have a good show (Majority of them suck), The Movie's have all been labeled train wreck and latest is called the worst, There latest Game rise od the Dark Spark was a failure. This was so not the year to be a TF Fan

I agree with Spidey. I couldn't stand the art in his new comic when Humberto Ramos was on it. I haven't seen the new Spidey movie though I don't think I want to anymore.

I still think Green Arrow had a good year. The only thing that sucked pretty much was Lemire and Sorrentino leaving the book.

We share the same opinion on Lobo and its sad to see what happened to Rogue.

The New 52 has been a constant screw you to Black Canary. They don't keep her in the spotlight. I even forget that she is still around most of the time. Its sad seeing how prominent Black Canary once was in the DCU. If I ever get a job at DC I will make sure Black Canary and the Atom get more respect. They don't deserve to be constantly pushed aside. Though the Atom had a better year than he had in the past two.

Cyborg I think is doing better. I can get behind him being in the main League more.

I am happy to see Wolverine dead. I never really liked him so seeing less of him for awhile might make me like him when he comes back. I never really liked for how he seemed to be everywhere in the Marvel universe.

What happening to the Fantastic Four is beyond terrible. It insults me. Kirby will be spinning in his grave. Does anyone know how Stan Lee feels about the treatment of the Fantastic Four? Maybe if he says something they'll maybe put some thought into it. Maybe... hopefully....

@madeinbangladesh: They'd have to do something to lead up to it first. I don't think they should just give him a book because people asked for it. They'd have transition into it. Same goes for characters like SHAZAM, Firestrom, and even Deathstroke. [Who really didn't need another comic.] But that's just my opinion.

She made some cameos but not important. Her costume is awesome and her best costume specially with Wings. At Team 7, she done somethings but mostly explained what happen with Kurt Lance but she was decente on first issue of BOP, then she whine and complain a lot and started to care more about her former dead/coma husband who now hates her and never care about her but he want to revenge his death than her team and that why babs and Dinah dont get along anymore.

But it was still Black Canary even though thye didn't say she was Black CANARY. And that was just one reason why she is on this list.

@captainmarvel4ever: I agree that Lobo is doing what he suppose to be doing. Parodying the anti-hero. The problem I think that Lobo has is that he became so well known for being the parody of a extreme biker dude and so many fans that he works better being that. Though I do agree that Lobo is doing his job. Its just that his past incarnation worked so well that people loved it and he became his own fun character.

@vitalius: i think visually she was downgraded. I always liked the leather jacket, fishnet combination. It set her apart from the others. I know they designed it to make the costume less degrading though they could've made it more like the Golden Age design where gray leggings were under the fishnets. She just really wasn't a character to armor up or give that vibe too.

I do find it cool how they did more stuff with Kurt Lance. We really didn't get to know much about Kurt before the New 52. I hope she meets Green Arrow soon or really just get her own solo with a good creative team.

I think my creative side forbidding me from enjoying her direction. I have too many ideas for her.

@captainmarvel4ever: From what I read in Justice League United I could tell though I think part of the fun was the visual look. Comics being a visual medium tends to also play on visuals. Just my thought on why most want old Lobo back.

@completely_subjective_guy: I actually think the storytelling potential is plentiful for a Cyborg series. The problem he faces now is that he is the member of the Justice League that gets the least attention. It's not that the character isn't interesting but that he doesn't get enough of the spotlight. That's just my opinion though. I'm a Teen Titans fanboy and Cyborg has been a favorite of mine for a while so I'm a bit biased. I'd have liked Cyborg getting something to do if they were going to make him a founding Justice League member as opposed to a Titan first. Instead he has been a background character for much of the New 52 Justice League.

But that's the problem. They haven't given him enough spotlight. As of right now he's a pretty bland character. That's why I said they need to give a character centric story in the Justice League title. Then they can transition to a solo series. Just giving a character a series to give them one doesn't quite fit for me. But that's just my opinion.

@completely_subjective_guy: I disagree about him being bland is my point. There is a difference between being bland and not being properly focused on. I agree that it'd make the most sense for a Cyborg-centric Justice League arc come out before they launch a series but I do think that he should get one at some point in the near future.

Me too i have lot of ideas about her and i hope we can see a solo in 17 blank titles. But i think she still wears leather jacket on her costume but it giving a lot more pratical look and looks more armor suit because she was former agent. @vitalius: I want her to return to Green Arrow because really its been like that forever. Ever since Black Canary came over to Earth 1 and started having adventures in the DCU that wasn't Earth 2 and even after the Crisis its always been her and Ollie. And ever since Green Arrow started becoming a character rather than just a generic archer in the Justice League, Black Canary was there. I think taking away that association is just to out of it. Its destroying years of established relationships even the timeline was rebooted. It'd be like taking away Robin from Batman or the Flash and Green Lantern friendship. I wouldn't mind seeing Black Canary with someone else if it made sense at least.

Another reason why it would make sense to even just associate Black Canary with Green Arrow is the fact that she is one of the main characters on Arrow. Ever since Lemire and Sorrentino left Green Arrow the book has become the Arrow book. They already have Diggle and Felcity and including Speedy would be easy seeing he has the association with Ollie still and he has an established role in the Outlaws. It would only make sense to include Black Canary at some point. If DC wants Arrow viewers to hope on the Green Arrow comic by making it more like the show then why take away the association of one of the main characters and have her float around in the backgrounds.

I'm not trying to insult your opinions so sorry if it comes out like that. I'm just expressing my ideas on what I would do with her love life and maybe find away to make sense of it. I'd keep the association with Green Arrow though by also making her a character that can stand away from Green Arrow.

The armor makes sense though I still like the street level design. I thought it worked well and set her apart.

My idea of her solo was Dinah rebuilding her Dojo with Ted Grant but discorved that her Meta-Gene is evolving giving new powers and she needs help to control so she train with some heroes but Lady Shiva wants to test her to be worthy of Shiva´s Legacy because she trained under the training of The Mother. But there is other people on the line and Lady Shiva favoring Dinah would leave White Canary and Cheshire assembling a team with help of Ra´s al Ghul to kill Lady Shiva, Black Canary and The Mother to gain more power. Ras´s al Ghul wants The Mother so that he can takes her students/slaves to his league. She would team up other heroes and also giving a origin to Dinah and some other characthers.

@vitalius: I think that can be said about every writer out there with any character and their relationships. DC's destruction of the Green Arrow/Green Lantern friendship is another reason why I want Black Canary to stay in Green Arrow's life. Much has been taken away from Black Canary and much have been taken away from Green Arrow. I at least want them to stay in each others life.

And I understand about not wanting Black Canary to be defined by Green Arrow or any other guy. I don't want that either. I think there are ways DC could do this though. I mean Batgirl has been associated with Nightwing a lot yet we can still see Batgirl and Nightwing as their own seperate people. It has come to the point with Joker and Harley that Harley is getting just as much respect on her own. Same with Constantine and Zatanna. I think a solo book and a really good creative team could help do this.

And I see what you're saying about the costume and I really like that idea. My idea is more like a street level adventurer. I would want her main base of operations to be in Opal City just because I really think Opal should comeback (I miss the fictional cities) and maybe she could travel a lot taking on different cases making her way to Gotham or Starling and have adventures involving the League of Assassins. Really its her being a hero, going on her own missions, traveling around at times and teaming up with other heroes. I'll admit I haven't read tons of Black Canary though I do have ideas for her.

I'm not impressed with Anna Paquin's acting, so Rogue's being cut is preferable to me than seeing her handled by a mediocre actress.

With regards to Wolverine, C'MON! He suffered the same "death" as Thanos. He's covered with adamantium, but his healing factor will probs keep him alive inside that shell until Marvel's stock drops a point. It's never a good day for Spidey when Dan Slott is writing him. Oh, well... at least he didn't have to deal with bedbugs this year.

Finally, as far a the Watcher goes; Uatu was one member of an alien race, soooo... another Watcher?

I think DC tried made Simon Bazz and Oliver Queen happening but i dont think it is same like Hal and Oliver. Black Canary is my favorite characther and being Reading and scearch about her since i knew her. My idea is also street adventurer but instead on fixing on city, she would do global crimefighting.Her Dojo and her hidden base is on Gotham because it is her native town. She would be Martial Art Teacher and Florist and would have Godiva and Katana as helpers. Nice list. I didn't like the way wolverine die. Rogue was left out of the X-Men movie, but she was great in the Axis event. Poor Batwoman.
