With perfect teamwork I'd back the Shazams. Magic is Superman's vulnerability and Cap at least has shown to actually use magic offensively. Wonder Woman gets straight up overpowered.
Eh Billy doesn't have the most consistent record at using magic in combat. He tends to brawl it out which wouldn't be a winning strategy against Superman. Whilst he does use magic in combat more regularly during the New 52, it's so weak that it's not worth discussing. Furthermore, Diana and Clark already have experience working together so if they fight together, they might be able to win. However, if they get seperated they would lose.
WW gets fodderized, which leaves Superman in a 1v2 situation, so Team 1 wins.
Billy is the weakest here you brain-acrobat.
One insulting other people doesn't make a good argument. Two Diana is the weakest here. She's never been a physical match for Clark whereas Billy and Adam have been able to hold their own against him far better than Diana has ever managed to. Hell a bloodlusted Clark has been capable of 3 shotting or even one shotted Diana whereas Captain Marvel has gone toe to toe with a bloodlusted Eclipso possessed Superman. Wonder Woman is the weak link here and the only way Team 2 wins is if they work together and don't split up.
I so wish I could vote on this debate because this was a clash of the ages. Both sides have debated passionately and challenged their opposing arguments with great fervour. Both Bagel and Vulcan have earned even greater respect than I already had for them.
Jurgens & Tomasi: Hey guys want to know what it would be like if Superman had a son and how he would live up to his father’s legacy?
Fans: Yeah that sounds like fun!
Bendis: Hey guys want to know what would happen if Jon went away from his parents, got kidnapped and tortured for years by evil versions of his parents?
Seriously this is the first issue where I’m actually angry with Bendis for what he’s done to Jon. It’s miserable, depressing, unnecessary and warps Jon into something I don’t recognise as his character.
Team 2 takes both rounds. New 52 Wonder Woman is a massive weak link in Round 1 and lacks the feats to contend with Thor or Hulk. Although I'd argue New 52 Clark can beat Indestructible Hulk or Thor, he's not beating them before the other stomps Wonder Woman and double teams him.
World Breaker Hulk can solo everyone in Round 2 by himself. I've never been that impressed with Warrior Madness Thor's feats so I still think Clark's superior speed and tactical versatility gives him the edge but WBH sweeps everyone else regardless.
After smacking most of the DC Universe's heroes without breaking a sweat, Manhattan summons other teambusters to test whether his feats are overrated or if he can break through the teambuster tier into higher tier territory. How far does the super powered Watchmen character get in this gauntlet?
