Lucia could only watch on as the Baada Beast walked forth, as though her presence wasn't even worth acknowledging. He seemed single minded, driven by a force that the silver haired warrior herself wasn't sure sure she understood. Living a secluded life, and only having come to feel true loathing for one person, who even then she had come to hold a begrudging respect towards and eventually made up with, Lucia was unable to pinpoint what he had in mind.
So was she offended that she went on unnoticed.? No, what he thought of her was unimportant. In fact, if he didn't even bother to notice her, it could give her an advantage. Pacing herself, Lucia followed the terrorist, walking behind him as he made his way towards his destination, whatever it may be. And that showed itself to be the Dark Vengeance himself, who with a massive leap, appeared before the villain.
Coming to a halt, Lucia stared at the man in the cowl, looking with intrigue and curiosity. She had heard much about him, how he was the hero of Gothic City, and his many exploits. It was in fact, one of her many wishes to perhaps one day meet the fabled hero on her travels.
And now, here she stood. A stranger within a city that was not her own, about to involve herself in something that she had no business being a part of. Her blade beginning to glow green from the last rune that remained on it, she readied herself, becoming immersed in the power that allowed her to continue surviving in this environment. While the noxious fumes were noticed, her will for battle and the aura that surrounded her kept standing, allowing her to function normally.
She kept her distance, watching what Satar was capable of, and the punishment he could take. It was astounding, watching as this behemoth of a man took an onslaught of blows. But she had no time to dwell, as in a sudden ambush, multiple gunmen appeared, opening fire on the heroes. Before Lucia was capable of blocking herself however, a shield passed over, managing to disrupt the flow of raining gunfire. Looking up, she saw three warriors with wings entering the battlefield, and a fourth hero, a Green Lantern, coming at full speed with a weaponised Thomas the Tank Engine.
Lucia knew that the gunmen needed to be taken down, quickly. Hoping to assist the hawk warriors, she began powering up her speed with her aura, ready for a full sprint. But, looking at the Baada Beast, she knew she couldn't continue without getting some licks in to help the combating heroes. So, in a dash forward, breaking the sound barrier multiple times, she held out her blade to the side, wishing to pass by the villain and scrap his sides with Bloodbane, more so to keep him in place for the Green Lantern's strike than t actually harm him.
Breaking past the shield, everything around the Aurelius became a blur as she sped up faster and faster, her powers being used at a rate she did not feel comfortable going to. Racing up the side of a building she shot past the roof, rising vertically up into the air for hundreds of feet. Looking down she saw the mob of armed men on the roof had not even reacted to her yet, her sudden speed blitzing them. Her ascent finished, she began to descend. Planning out her fall perfectly, she aimed her blade once more, and upon contact with the ground, came into a tuck and roll, slicing through multiple men with a sickening ease.
Coming back up, she kept up the momentum, blitzing to each men and leaving a spray of red mist in her wake. They had to be dealt with fast. Already she could feel her speed dropping, her aura weakening. Hopefully the heroes could keep up the pressure on the goons with guns, and on Satar.
