HISTORY

The second Lucia was born into the Aurelius family, she had so much promise in life. Born with shining silver hair, the newborn daughter of Dante Aurelius was given the name Lucia, meaning light. For years, she brought joy to those of her family, the innocence that she had never failing to bring a smile to everyone. As the light of the family, and born from the Patriarch, much was expected from her, and at an early age she was taught the way of the warrior. It was during this time that it was soon clear that she was a prodigy in the ways of war. Picking up on the ways of the blade, and in hand to hand combat, she excelled early on. But for Lucia, there was no limit she could not overcome. She trained, endlessly, war and combat are what she hungered for, and she did all in her power to achieve perfection in this art.

But it was not enough, never enough. For her, she needed to be better, stand out amongst others. Lucia, decided to wield a sword of unnatural size. Heard of in tales, she went out in search of this mysterious sword. Upon finding it, she placed her hands on it, and on contact the blade emanated a green glow, runes blazing on its surface. Along parts of her body, these runes burned themselves as a permanent mark of their connection.

Forcing herself to master the blade and its weight, she developed as a true fighter, her prowess growing. But while she was ruthless and efficient as a warrior, her true strength lay in her conviction. She entered a battle without any trace of doubt in her mind: no ethical pause, no fear of death.

On one fateful day however, after a devastating attack on Gothic City, Lucia had been slain by the Brahma Beast, Satar. She had managed to help stop his attack in the process, but it cost Lucia her life. Her uncle Marte and brother Kai witnessed just in time to see her die. Her death caused a massive chain reaction, which nearly ruined the entirety of the Aurelius clan, as other members died left and right.

But through death, she grew in strength. Not being able to accept her death, the remainder of her family did what they could to bring back the dead girl who they had considered their pride and joy. Ancient and unholy rituals were used, and through every possible obstacle, they succeeded, Lucia was brought back to the world of the living. But not unscathed. For when the heir to the Aurelius Clan awoke, she found what remained of her family dead, and to the rest of the world forgotten. Her brother? Her father? Everyone she ever knew and loved? Dead. She was alone, the last of her bloodline. Lucia was the last Aurelius.

The world had failed her family, and in her despair, the demonic arts used to bring her to life demanded blood. On that day, Lucia realized that her clan didn't go far enough in their quest to remove tyranny, to destroy those with too much power. Now, as the only one left to carry on the mission, Lucia swore that the world would feel her pain.

Powers

Heart of the Warrior- Once bathed in the Lazarus Pit, Lucia was gifted with a unique power which she herself named. This gift allows her to see her through a new perspective. It is through these eyes that Lucia is able to gain true clarity in battle. Looking at her opponents skill, recognizing muscle-movements, and being capable of predicting actions attempted by her adversaries. It is almost like a state of being, in which she is able to attack and defend without forethought, instead each action and reaction coming out instinctively. ,it allows her a faster reaction time, and enables breathing room when in the heat of battle.

There is one other form in which the Heart of the Warrior comes into use however, and that is enhancements. At the expense of the mind, she is able to empower her body. In battle, if she ever needs to, Lucia can temporarily boost her stats by tapping into her power pool. Safely, she only uses it to boost one stat per use, as using it on all is extremely strenuous on her body. But, she is capable of doing it. While this occurs, a green, aura like glow will emanate from her body.

Berserk Mode: In coming back to life through the rituals of the Lazarus Pit, Lucia initially returned in a state of insanity. While this came to pass with time, she is still able to access this state of mind.The more blood she drinks, and the hearts she consumes, the stronger Lucia Aurelius becomes. Her determination to kill empowers her, making every move more lethal then the last.

Phase Shift: Another added bonus from her life-giving bath, she had side-effect. Between the time of her death to when she was eventually brought back to life, Lucia was split her between the realms of the living and the dead, the mortal plane and the afterlife. Having been stuck in this sort of limbo for an extended period of time, her body attuned itself to the veil between them . Once she was fully resurrected, she retained the ability phase in and out of reality, effectively bending space and time to pseudo-teleport. This helps her to move through opponents attacks, and quickly maneuver through the battlefield.

Regeneration- After being bathed in the blood of the innocent and resurrected into a corrupted form of herself, Lucia became an embodiment of hate. The fact that her sacrifice, in her eyes, meant nothing for the world, that her act as a hero was all for naught, the evil within began to form. The innocence of Lucia's former self was overcome by a new, demonic personality, that refuses to die. Regenerating, piecing herself back together, or straight up coming back from the dead, Lucia is filled with the determination to continue going.

Gear

Eagle Medallion

Medallion- A...personal item from her past, it has a pure essence of magic.The medallion is an item given to her by her late brother, Kai Aurelius, as a sign of the respect that he held for her, as well as her placement within the family line. Carved from the same stone that her sword had originated from, the pendant has the face of an eagle, the symbol of the family. Lucia never found out how Kai managed to find the stone to make it, but it didn't matter to her. With it, she gains true clairvoyance, allowing her to sense danger and future events before they happen. It can also see through illusions and resist mind manipulation. Along with that, it can sense powerful beings, and hums when in the vicinity of such power.

Rune Spear- Lucia wields a powerful lance made of the shards from her shattered sword, Latus. This item is the collection of all the rune's, gathering once more to form a whole, reforged in the armory of Mare Del Forte. The writing on the shards command it into a new form, a massive spear that's over double Lucia's height. On it's end it carries the banner of Mare Del Forte, signifying that the queen is on the battlefield.

Sword of the Clan Aurelius-

It is a weapon that Lucia never thought she would have to wield, not until long into her elder years, when she was old and wise. The Sword of the clan is the weapon passed down from generation to generation, to signal the leader of the clan. The bearer of the sword was considered the most powerful in the family, the one who could carry on the mission of the Aurelius. Lucia dreamed that one day she would be the one to hold the sword, to bring honor to it and all those who had come before. She just never thought it would be so soon.

With the death of all those who could wield the blade, Lucia knew that she was the only one who could still use the sword. In the ruins of her former home, Lucia took hold of the sword and unsheathed it, muttering the words she had drilled into her head in youth, the words of her forefathers. The powers of the Aurelius clan ran through her veins, and the sword claimed her as she claimed it. Together, they left her home, to continue the mission.

The blade, nicknamed Libertas, is an ancient weapon, made from the asgardian metal called Uru. The unique properties of the metal allow it to be instilled with magical properties, which the Aurelius Clan fully utilized in its inception. They enchanted the weapon with numerous runes, spells, and curses, making it so whichever Aurelius wielded the sword would be bound to it, and use its powers.

Because of this, Lucia is able to command to weapon in many ways:

Telepathy
Telekinesis

Warrior Prowess

After resurrecting, Lucia's priories have changed DRASTICALLY! She is a vengeance seeking warrior, with a blood-lust that is insatiable. Her old morals and beliefs corrupted, she seeks to control others through power, rise on the totem pole of authority. Ultimately, she just wants to see everything burn, the more who die by her own hands, the more powerful and hungrier she becomes. There is no more honor; to her, honor is a concept to hide ones weaknesses and inabilities, to help warriors sleep at night knowing the blood they had spilled was not simply done out of sport but for a righteous cause.
