" First of all, everyone GROSSLY took my comments out of context. I never said that I hated photomanip and I didn't even say either of your works were BAD. What I said was a SHORT constructive criticism. As an artist, you are expected to take them. Explain why you did what you did but do so without sounding like you're defending yourself from J. Jonah Jameson for Pete's sake! 
 
On another note, I was making the comment about the 3D one as a (failed) attempt to be pervy/funny. I think computer 3D animation is a good thing. I prefer traditional animation but I still like 3D.

 I didn't want to post this on the original thread because I felt it would be off topic. Look, dude, I don't hate your style. Everyone is entitled to their own way of doing things and that's great and all I'm just saying that I prefer other styles and would like to see more of them. It is MY OPINION. I can't help it if I don't like the style. I don't like anime much either nor do I care for certain cartoon styles. Everyone has their preferences. 
 
I digress, however, that it's (your art) alright but I still prefer art that is actually done by the artist whether it be on a computer tablet, by pencil, paintings, pen tool on photoshop, whatever. I just get irked when other people's works are cut up and used in something that is then claimed by that person to be THEIR art. It's not YOUR art, it's a bunch of other people's art put together in a photo-manipulation. Manipulation being defined as "exerting shrewd or devious influence especially for one's own advantages". You're not doing it to be shrewd or devious (I don't think O.o!!), I don't mean it like that. But you're using other people's stuff to benefit YOU. Yes, it does take talent to utilize the computer to do what you do. I can't do that stuff! It's too tough for me! But in the end I still feel like you're using something other people did for yourself and I've not once seen a credit for the images you used in the photomanips.  
 
I didn't offer my full opinion before but since you seemed to blow up about a small comment, I thought I'd offer my full opinion privately. Part of what makes art so great is that we don't have to like what each other's styles are. I don't love photo-manip. I'm sorry =/. I can appreciate the time it takes for you to do it and I can appreciate the end product, but I will never love it. If you were to tell me that you loved ALL art then I'd say you were lying.

I specifically use photos that have not been altered (beyond maybe auto leveling) so that I am not really using anyones art. 3 fingers and half a forearm from one image, an eye brow from another, the armpit crease from this picture, a pistol from that...isn't stealing anyones art either in terms of photography. I don't use anything drawn, painted, edited or otherwise altered in some artistic form or another.  I would never  plagiarize anyones art, as I find it despicable and appalling - I am intensely offended that you would insinuate that I would do so. I was using the term hate loosely and was joking about no one liking it. You are entitled to your opinion, however, you comments that you did not want to share with the community because you believe them to be "off topic"(In my thread, about my art) seem more like some sort of strange retaliation to an unknown provocation. I would like you to copy and paste this PM into the thread because I would like to hear if others share your opinion. I would like you to use the entirety of it since I believe editing it in any way would take away from it...As I'm sure you would agree.

Go for it man do whatever you want to do. Concerning your being offended over my assumption, what else are people supposed to think about "Photo-Manipulation" if you never reveal your sources? What people SEE is PHOTOGRAPHS that are obviously not all taken from the same photo and with no credited source. And is photography not considered an "Art"? I am confused because I was pretty sure it was.

I offered a brief, barely, NOT EVEN mean comment about it. I was obliged to explain further when you went on your rant. "  @LT1085: I don't think Crazy Pan is saying he hates what you do, he'd just like to see more drawings.  No one has entered this Contest with a sketch yet, so I think that could be what the user is saying.  I could be wrong.    I have no idea how you do what you do, so I can't say whether or not your efforts take more work than say someone like IcePrince_X or Om1kron, whom are both incredibly talented and often detailed oriented.    There are other artists too like that but those fellows come to mind right away for me.  If it takes more work doing the photo manip stuff, do you get tired of doing that and ever consider drawing, like you said you can do?  I'd like to see your talent in that area!   I DO like the majority of your work, I do.  I noticed your black and white works really stand out.       "

Obviously if Galactus had the power to put down those lackeys he would, you really think Galactus would warrant that amount of insolence unless he couldn't do crap about it? If a regular person had the adaucity to do that to Galactus I'm sure he'd be pissed an blast them off but instead in that picture he stands motionless to the coming destruction (which obviously someone is going to save him from, most likelly Herc). My point is that time and again Galactus has shown that personel pride has dictated many of his actions and this kind of disgrace cannot go unpunished unless of course he doesn't have the power to stop it.
