Obi-wan has comparable latent power to Anakin. During the Mortis incident Anakin said that Obi-wan & The Father together were a great threat to their plans, as we know Son > or >> Father so that means Obi-wan was the equalizer. Calm Obi-wan once beat Bloodlusted armed Anakin ( tier 9 on most canon tier lists) without even taking out his lightsaber. He beat Maul (9) & Oppress (8) at the same time with only his swordsmanship despite the fact that the brothers were resorting to the force. Maul Alone was able to hold his own against Sideous & he finally beat him with Lightning.
On Mortis the Sister said that it was Obi Ben Wan's destiny to wield the Mortis Blade against the brother indicating that Obi Ben Wan was also connected with the myth of the chosen 1, a sort of a second chosen one to guide the first in his quest. In my opinion he is the Mortis Blade Wielder, to swordsmanship what Anakin was to force power but like Anakin not lacking in the other either. He is the undisputed best Lightsaber Duelist In Star Wars. In fact he is the best swordsman as his droid-busting & lightsaber bolt deflecting feats suggest that his skill in handling a lightsaber is not restricted to dueling.
In most Obi-wan vs Mace Windu threads, people wrongly assume Windu to be the better lightsaber duelist, & say he will win because of Force Repulse, Force Crush & Shatterpoint despite Obi Ben Wan Kenobi possesing 2 of those 3 & has one showing which indicates that he either is capable of using Shatterpoint or has enough brute strength for me to give him the win over Mace ( or anyone else for that matter ) any day of the week. Just because he does not use TK offensively does not mean he cannot, In Attack Of The Clones when he force crushed those 2 super battle droids, he pushed the wreckage aside, he could have easily directed the wreckage at the enemy but that does not go with his personal ( I forgot the word, it means something like self imposed rules). He can use the force offensively, heck, he tied with Anakin Skywalker in a force push contest (though he was clearly giving ground), the same Anakin who turned a huge building to rubble or pebbles or dust or whatever by force of his TK alone. A Bloodlusted Morals off Obi Ben Wan would force choke, crush, whatever his opponents into submission & would have loads of destructive potential, similiar to Sith Lords Of Olde. Proof of his force ability is in his portrayal his teachings leading to 2 of the most powerful force adepts ever & all that Force Ghost-iness. He is one of 2 people ever who have managed to tutamini a flamethrower & the other did it millenia ago & if flamethrower tech has adavnced since then at the same rate it has advanced over the past hundred years Kenobi's feat is astronomically better. Especially as the last person to do it was a sith lord who may have used Force Drain in addition to the art Of Tutamini.
The first time Kenobi fought Dooku, he had been starved & tortured for days & had just been in a huge battle, yet was still able to ward off the latter's initial onslaught effortlessly. In Perfect physical condition he could have potentially tied. People overrate Dooku just because he was played by the greatest actor of all time, Kenobi beat more powerful foes during the Clone Wars. The reason he lost to Dooku were PIS, psychological reasons, he impoved a lot during episode 3 (including realizing his potential as a Force Wielder) , & some special factors- He being a jedi did not use the force against Dooku nor was he expecting Dooku to, do so as the former jedi- now Sith normally relied on nothing but his lightsaber skill. The Count took him out with a tri-beam esque forceblast that used up all his forcepower & reserves in one shot, such last ditch effort attacks hit well above their weight. Also Palpatine may have helped him out with that, he could either have directly knocked him out by adding his own TK Power to the blast, Kenobi could have sensed his force signature, but forgotten after being knocked out (short term amnesia due to blunt trauma) but his subconsciousness never forgot, hence his subconscious suspicion of Palpatine which was great enough for Yoda & Windu to take notice. This was probably the reason Palpatine wanted Anakin to leave Kenobi there ( in addition to clearing Anakin's path to the darkside & Vader-ness ), he was scared Kenobi recognized his force signature & would remember it, unmasking him as the Sith Lord, Yoda did not recognize it in a fight, a testament to Obi Ben Wan Kenobi's force affinity, though circumstances helped a lot. Or it is possible Sidious indirectly helped with his galaxy class ( is that a thing ) Battle Meditation.
