I'm loving this show. Like a lot. I thought I wouldn't be down with Loras as Danny, but he's great. For once we have an actual fun protagonist. Chills with homeless people, drives cars crazy, and I like the fighting choreography. He's the master of martial arts, it should look fluid and effortless, he's not Daredevil who's a brawler. Idk, I wasn't a huge fan of JJ and Luke Cage kinda went downhill after episode 7, but this has been really fun while not not losing Danny's tortured soul. It's not dark, bleak, and it's willing to have a bit of fun. Not that the other shows weren't fun, but this one is in a different way. Give it a chance, you might not like it, but it's worth a shot.

@bat_girl_cc:

1) BUT, he still beat him. I never said he beat him consistently, or that he would always win the fight. Just that he had, which is extremely impressive seeing as no other "normal" human has.

2) Never said he won. But he did beat the shit out of him. I mean look at the panels, it's pretty clear Bruce got a beating, just as Dick did in the same fight. Not many "normal" humans could do that kind of damage to Bruce and still be standing.

3) I don't know why you're showing examples of how good Cass is, when I agree with you and said so in my comment. I said "Even Cassandra Cain got one shotted by Nightwing, when it's generally known she would embarrass him in a fight." All your examples help to prove my point more, which was to show that characters get beat sometimes, it doesn't mean all their past or future accomplishments don't matter. Just like Batman beating Deathstroke once doesn't make Batman the new king of the ring in regards to that match up. Also, writer stupidity doesn't change cannon. I think we all agree Superboy-Prime punching the universe was dumb, but it's canon.

4) Again, PIS doesn't change the fact that he has held his own. Not saying he's as good as Batman, but if you can hold your own against Batman, along with the other reasons I listed, you can beat the Punisher.

@theredhood44: Actually he has, in Detective Comics 710. Copy and pasted from the dc wiki "Deathstroke was aiming again at the ferry when Batman attacked him by surprise. This time Batman had the upper hand and beat Deathstroke almost with vengeance. Once Deathsroke was knocked down, Batman realized that the ferry was already too far away to reach it and stop Gunhawk. Batman pondered his options for a while before coming to the conclusion that he needed to use Deathstoke's gun to stop Gunhawk."

From the trivia section: "After solving this case, Batman took Deathstroke's sword to keep it in his Trophies Gallery in the Batcave."

Here's the link: http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Detective_Comics_Vol_1_710

As to Nightwing, Azrael is on par with Batman in a fight. Nightwing, before going to Spyral, beat the shit out of Batman. Characters get beat sometimes, it doesn't discredit the rest of their resume. Even Cassandra Cain got one shotted by Nightwing, when it's generally known she would embarrass him in a fight. So no, I don't think the Winter Solider, who is a good fighter and strong character could beat Nightwing.

Red Hood can hold his own against Batman at times, which would put him over Punisher. I love Frank too, but he's not beating a Batfamily member.

Haven't seen Rogue One yet, but it looks like it'd be either in front of TFA or in front of ROTJ.

1) A New Hope

2) The Empire Strikes Back

3) The Force Awakens

4) Return of the Jedi

5) Star Wars: The Clone Wars Movie

6) Revenge of the Sith

7) The Phantom Menace

8) Attack of the Clones (Worst movie title as well) Also, just FUCK this movie. I've seen it twice, and the second time I forced myself not to turn it off.

Captain America vs. Batman - Cap is a soldier, Batman is THE soldier. Also, Batman has taken down Deathstroke hand to hand. Nuff said.

Agent 13 vs. Batwoman - Better training, gear, and tactical mind.

Winter Soldier vs. Nightwing - Trained by the Bat, can hold his own with the Bat, better over all martial arts and acrobatics skills. Has also taken down harder opponents.

Black Widow vs. Batgirl (BG) - Not trying to be biased, but again, trained by the Bat. This is important as it is generally believed to be the best hero training on the planet. Widow is good, but not batfamily good.

Falcon vs. Batwing - Falcon is the better fighter, tactician, and has been flying a lot longer than Batwing, thus better at that style of combat. Batwing was also not trained by Bruce.

Nomad vs. Red Robin (Jack Monroe vs Tim drake) - See Nightwing.

Vagabond vs. Spoiler - Tie.

Nomad vs. Robin (Ian Zola vs Damian Wayne) - Trained by The League of Assassins, and further trained by Bruce. He's literally a Batman Tasmanian Devil.

Hawkeye vs. Green Arrow. - Super tie. I don't know how either could beat the other with any consistency.

Mockingbird vs. Black Canary - Known as one of the best human fighters

Iron Fist vs. Green Arrow II - Iron fist hands down...get it. I think he explains himself here.

Daredevil vs. Arsenal - Daredevil has taken down much harder enemies, and unless Arsenal uses sonics or finds out that's what he needs to do, Daredevil would mop the floor, especially as Arsenal is known to be a reckless fighter, something a boxer/ninja who has super senses will take full advantage off.

Black Panther vs. Bronze Tiger - Besides all the other reasons, Vibranium.

Gambit vs. Dodger - Don't know enough.

Jubilee vs. Speedy - Overall better training.

Blindspot vs. Bushido - Don't know enough.

Hawkeye II vs. Arrowette - II is almost as good a shot as Clint. Arrowette is not nearly as close in skill level to Ollie.

Wolverine vs. Deathstroke - This is the most one sided fight. I mean without his healing factor, it would be close, but with it, it's game over.

Deadpool vs. Grifter - Healing factor, master of guns and swords, immune to pain by virtue of constantly being in pain.

Punisher vs. Red Hood - Trained by Batman, has better weapons, armor, and hates criminals more than the Punisher (who to RH would be a criminal.)

Silver Sable vs. Huntress - See Hawkeye/Green Arrow

Moon Knight vs. Midnighter - Biased time! Moon Knight has the slight edge of, Midnight can see all moves, but Moon Knight is both almost completely unpredictable in a fight, as well choosing the worst move at times i.e. taking hits he doesn't have to if it means he can keep punching uninterrupted.

Daken vs. Grant Wilson - Don't know enough.

Paladin vs. Azrael - His armor, sword, God's holy wrath, was seen by Batman as a suitable replacement etc.

Shang Chi vs. Richard Dragon - Don't know enough.

Round 2

DC. They have the better overall team, with a good mix of styles, powers, and tactics.

@chuckwolf: I'd read the shit out of that based on the title a lone hahaha. Seriously though, the best way is to write a human character, (shocking I know,) then have it come up once or twice and then leave it a lone. Orientation needs to stop being a character definer, and become back story. "Oh yeah, Hal's 6'3, conservative, white, brown hair, air force pilot, and trans." It's not hard, people just like to make it so.

Fantastic creative team, especially Smallwood, his panel layouts are amazing. The camera issue is still my favorite of this run art wise.

I am so hyped right now for this story I can barely contain it.

& Cool that we are seeing Simon Baz in the story. I am curious about when he's going to do Rise of the Seven Seas he teased back at the end of his run of Aquaman.

Finally! I thought Simon Baz was a great character that for some reason no one ever seems to want to use.

That Detective cover...I need that tattooed on me right now. But yeah a lot of good stuff, definitely getting Tec, Batman, Dr. Fate, Midnighter, and Green Arrow. Possibly even pick up Action Comics for once. I will say even though I think the new direction is gonna be great, there's a little to much "villain of the month" type stories going on. Not a bad thing, just hoping they spread out a little more beyond that at some point.
