This is my number one book off my pull. Smallwood has quickly become my favorite artist, and is just doing out of sight work. I thought Declan and Bellaire were a dream team, but Smallwood and her just take it to another level. Really digging the story, it feels like I'm falling through the story and his mind and I don't want to grab on to anything. When it's all said and done, I think this'll be one of the definitive runs on the character.

I'm so over the cryptic shit. Just annouce the event all at once, nothing is gained by just drip drip dripping the info. Also, Marvel could learn a thing or two from the way DC is doing events now. Small, mostly self contained, done in a month/month and a half. Oh, and not having heroes fight each other, every. Damn. Time.

@the_stegman: The only cutesy ones I can think of are Squirrel Girl, Hellcat, and this. The rest all seem normal. I mean Hawkeye is nowhere near cutesy, She-Hulk is going through PTSD, who knows what's going to happen in Captain Marvel's book now after CWII, Ms. Marvel is in the vain of Spider-Man, all the Spider lady books are pretty normal superhero fare etc. I think it's just because there are no cutesy men led books, that it seems like there are more than there are.

This looks like a fun 60's era Marvel comic and honestly I can't think of a better tone to start a new Wasp off with. The cover though, is her spine okay? Also, why do we need the sexy shot of an underage teen?

Have loved every issue. The last arc felt like falling the entire time and it was great. You could really feel his struggle to hold on to anything he thought was real or grounding. Unlike most here though, I love his split-personalities, it's what makes Moonie looney ;)

@heatblaze123: If anyone can make something creepy, scary, disturbing, and do the best MPAA line walking it's Disney. I agree, he'd have to be in his own movie with an R rating like Deadpool to really get at the character, but I feel like they could put him in a Spidey movie and have him be really close.

As a new Aquaman reader, I loved this. Love the politics, seeing Arthur as a normal person, (last issue in the restaurant is still my favorite part of the two issues,) and the art and colors were fantastic. Huge nerd for world building and not have heroes just get into fights every other second, which is why I wish the fight would have been held for next issue but, minor gripe. I feel this book is already doing a better job of showing a super hero head of state than the Black Panther book has.

@w0nd: The one on the left looks like the shunken face meme. The faces are just not good.

Why why why did they drag Power Man and Iron Fist into Civil War 2? Their book is awesome on it's own. I get the cross over needing to effect other hero's, but there seem to be so many unnecessary tie-in's. At least they left Moon Knight and Doctor Strange a lone.

@darkdetective27: Don't rush it, it's a great series. I envy anyone getting to read it for the first time.
