why does comic vine have a page for this guy and not Cretacious Sam. This was supposed to be Cretacious Sam. I do not like Dinosaur Ryuzak (REX RAPTOR)i, but I do like Weevil Underwood (INSECTOR HAGA). This is a lie, I like both Dinosaur Ryuzak (REX RAPTOR) and Weevil Underwood (INSECTOR HAGA), but I prefer Cretacious Sam (CRETACIOUS SAM)

I like Anthro a lot, and for what he has sort of come to embody. The late 60s to early 70s was an underappreciated era of creativity in the big two comic publishers, who were now really expanding the kind of stories they told. Slightly less emphasis on superhero and more of an emphasis on adventure. While Anthro was not the...best character of this experimental era (most would say Prez or if you're like me, Brother Power), I think he, along with the aforementioned figures, make up an odd little trinity of unique and fun characters who have sadly mostly faded to being primarily 'lore characters'. If I worked with DC, I would make a team with Anthro, Kamandi, Prez, Brother Power, and Swingin' Scooter and it will be cool.
