@masterbuster666: Yes, Naruto at the time lacked experience. But what I'm trying to get at here is that it felt more rewarding and promising for his future, because we've seen how much he's grown through his trainings and the hardships he's had to deal with to get this far in his life. Whereas with Sarada, she hasn't had anything like that, even after a three year timeskip.
I'm trying to give it the benefit of a doubt, but to have the story start off with Shikamaru telling us that Sarada's a Genin when she's suppose to be a Chūnin (according to the anime at least) feels like we've taken one step back here.
@masterbuster666: Of course it's not easy, but it doesn't even feel like Sarada has made any significant progress or development getting anywhere to it. Whereas with Naruto, to see all people recognize and acknowledge him after the Pain fight, it already felt like he was one step closer to achieving his dream.
Kinda seems like we’ve just been thrown into the mix and it exemplifies how much I could care less about anyone who isn’t named Kawaki, Boruto, Sarada, Naruto, Daemon and Code
I couldn't even care less about these characters, tbh. Code is suppose to be Ishiki's successor and yet he comes off as a complete joke of a villain. And it seems like neither Ikemoto nor Kishimoto have any idea what they want to do with Sarada's character. Girl's dream is to become the Hokage and yet she's nowhere near to achieving it.
