"SHUT UP!" Chance called out at them both; the time for tears was over. Whatever untapped force that caused her to send an arrow spiraling into her father was present, but the young warrior maintained control.

As Abby called out in anger, Chance's bow remained trained on Zeon. "I-I gave up my entire life for you. Every time I was abducted, I knew you would come and save me because you loved me. And I loved you. I couldn't help you, not in the least. But I remained strong because I didn't want to see what you'd become if I didn't. BUT the one time I needed you to remain strong for ME, you couldn't. And you killed me. YOU made leaving my family hurt more than it already did. I HATE YOU," She screamed once again, pulling back on her drawstring until she remembered Abby was there too.

"And you..." She called out with her eyes and bow still trained on Zeon but maneuvering into a more evasive position should the revenge-ridden archer decide to lash out against her.

"YOU KNOW VERY WELL WHAT MY ISSUE IS!" She screamed back now with tears gushing from her sockets. "I PLEADED with you not to do this. B-But you didn't care; you told me what I wanted to hear, taking my compliance to help you find Zeon as a blessing. You manipulated me! And all you continue to say is[You demanded to come], She replied, mocking Abby with the latter part of her sentence. "I told you, I worried about losing your heart, and that day has come."

With one hand, Chance pulled her hood off. "I've been living in your house for months; you've been so caught up in finding Zeon you didn't CARE that I WAS HURTING. So you're right, I demanded to come here today. I told myself that if this moment came then, I know where we stand as friends....sisters."

Chance now cautiously backtracked, creating more distance between the three of them. She inched closer to a spot that'd allow her to keep them both within a swift maneuver of her bow. "But now I sit here, and I see you both? And I'm looking at the same person." Chance pulled the pendant from around her neck with her free hand and chucked it back at Abby. "I don't want your sh!t. I'm leaving and if either of you so much as tries to follow, I will put an arrow into your spirit!"

With a quick release of another capsule, Chance chucked it in the space between them--a mini bomb. Opting to go with instant use she fired an arrow to catch it in the air, when the arrow struck an explosion would erupt above them. But when it was finished Chance would be gone.

Chance's eyes briefly met with Abby's, and although she was able to muster a fake smile, it soon faded. As the two of them exit the vehicle, they were standing face to face with the Cardinal Demoness--although something felt different. Unlike the last time Chance saw Zeon, there was a calming presence about her sister, as if her words about only wanting to talk were valid. 'More Talking' Chance internalized before flinching as Abby took off to finish Zeon once and for all. 'No, don't!' she called out internally, yet the words never actually left her lips. Overcome by inaction.

'Why did I kill him...' She thought, watching her arrows penetrate his flesh with every bat of her eyelashes, only for Zeon's blade to slice through her stomach--which in turn drew the wrath of Abigail. 'It's all my fault,' She thought, as her Best Friend and Blood Sister went to war with one another. 'What happened if anyone side succeeded? Could she and Abby go back to being friends, knowing Abby killed her sister? Could she and Zeon rebuild their relationship in the aftermath of Abby's death? The answer was no. She was at the center of a nightmare, and none of the sides saw the backside--only the now. How she missed Orion...where was he?

The shrieks of fear coming from those around them pulled Chance from her self-imposed mental isolation; running with haste, she cleared people out of the immediate area and even removed the people out of the restaurant by forcing them to exit through the emergency exit in the back. As she prepared to head back outside, she was hindered by her thoughts once more.

'Who's side am I on' the confusion reach such a fever pitch that instead of going back to the location of the fight, she dropped to her bottom and forced her head into her thighs.

She then felt a delicate hand running through her hair; startled, she popped up to see her mother sitting beside her. "Mom!" she cried out in reverence. "Hey baby," Her mom called out, bringing the surprised archer in for a hug. This wasn't possible; she saw their roasted corpses littered across the driveway; how was her mother here!

"M-mo, ho, wh" Chance struggled to verbalize her feelings. "Breathe, baby. I told you I would never leave you. Somewhere you forgot that, as long as you have this..." She pressed her loving finger against Chance's heart. "I will be with you. Now, I see you need me."

Chance's eyes dart toward the outside where Zeon and Abby were engaged in combat; she had conflicted feelings about them both; she loved them--albeit in different ways.

"Ah. I see. You are conflicted because of Zeon and Abby. That's understandable, love. But this division isn't physical; it's spiritual." Her mother instructed, drawing the curious brow from Chance.

"You sacrificed everything to meet your sister and was thrown into a nightmare of events. Your resiliency led you to Abigail, the first friend you met on your own. Now it appears as if you're stuck between your past and your present. However, the most common denominator here...is you."

She was correct; Abby represented a life Chance never would've got to experience if she never left to find Zeon in the first place. While Zeon was the reason Chance died initially, Chance knew that person wasn't her sister. Her sister fought for years, just like Abby, to cut down any person that harmed her. "It's like my past self is fighting my present self." She admitted while wiping her tears. "And what makes it worse is that you don't forgive yourself for being human. I know your heartaches for killing your father, but if you don't forgive yourself, you will become worse...forge a new path Lebreau."

"Th-thanks Mom"

"Just remember, I am always with you." and just like that, she was gone. Rising from her feet, Chance took her bow and arrow in hand. Emerging from the door, her eyes dart back from Abby to Zeon. The Present and the Past if one of them died, she wouldn't have a future. And for that reason...'I need a new path,' She thought, tossing two capsules at both Zeon and Abby, stun capsules. Hoping to disorient the both of them, followed by a Calthrop capsule to try and restrict them from killing each other.

She didn't bother to lift her head as her door came flying open; she remained unflinching at Abby's commands and even more unbothered by the thought of being face to face with Zeon. 'Yay,' she thought sarcastically, rolling off the edge of her bed unenthusiastically putting on her outfit while making sure to grab her quiver and bow.

Time did crazy things to the soul; the situation with Zeon was a dissolving memory in the back of her mind. While it hurt that she'd never had the relationship with the sister she once thought to be a role model, it hurt more than she hadn't heard from Orion in months. It was just a continual cycle of people she cared for letting her down.

After getting dress, she headed for the foyer, walking just a pace behind Abby doing her best to feign interest in it all. As they entered, she could see Abby's face growing stern, which sent a surge of irritation throughout Chance, but she internalized it forced herself to keep it from showing. Something she normally wasn't good at. 'Here we go,' She thought, tilting her head up in anticipation for Abby's lecture.

It was right on part with what she thought, keep a cool head, don't do anything stupid civilians first, all that jazz. 'Do you think I'm dumb? No part of me wants this. Especially not all these months later. Do you seriously believe you're doing this for me?' She thought, but all that manifests as a lot less. "I don't need to talk to Zeon; get in save the civilians while you do what you got to do, got it."

She retorts before shifting her attention to the scenery speeding past in a blur. The vehicle pulled up to the restaurant, the same one she met Abby at just months ago. Being here now she felt like she made the wrong decision coming here that day, she could've easily vanished from the world. Thoughts of living in a villa in South America burned in her mind, but friendship brought her to Abby. And her conflicted spirit was driving her away.

"You ready?" Her voice was stoic devoid of any emotion, she couldn't help but think what would happen should they succeed. What would their friendship be like.?

Another kiss. This one sent an indescribable ecstasy surging through Chance's body. There was something about this kiss that felt naughty, she was sure she liked it, but she couldn't help but feel as if she were diving in too fast. Her body now craving more of the same, with urges for things she'd yet to experience. One thing was for certain.

'I'm so glad my WHOLE body is wet right now,' she thought as Orion scooped her from the water. Sliding her hands around his neck, she loosely grazed the water's edge until they emerged out of the mouth of the cavern back to dry land.

Soon Orion's light sent an appealing warmth through her clothes, drying them seemingly instantly.

"I think we see the day quite differently. Yes, the rollercoaster wasn't Ideal, but I got a kiss and a boyfriend. And while the river excursion also wasn't Ideal. I got another kiss so. I consider it a win." She said, wringing the last bits of water from her hair.

'Oh...man...' she thought, eying Orion up and down before he took her by the hand, leading the way toward a restaurant. She followed closely, periodically stealing glances like a love-struck teenager.

'I'm going to have to double down on confessional,' Her thoughts are growing erotic by the minute. It was as if he'd opened a part of her she didn't know she had. Part of her wanted to explore, while the rational side wanted to refrain from going all in.

As they descended on a restaurant, someone tapped Chance on the shoulder, holding her purse. "Oh snap, I completely forgot I came with a purse." She said before thanking the man that probably chased them throughout the park. "If it was my head right. H-hey, I like you, and I know things between us are heating up. But I have to say it. I'm not really ready for 'sex' Yet," She whispered, just saying the word made her feel dirty.

At the moment, a kiss was all she could handle, and the way Orion kiss made her feel like one of those women that were typically in the music videos. "I-m not saying that's what you expected of me or anything. I-I kind of just wanted to hang it out there, so you knew. I need some time to adjust to this part of the relationship."

'This part of the relationship? What part is that. I think I'm in over my head. I'm so fricken horny'. She thought before trying to think of someone she could ask on her end of things. The only person that came to mind was Abby; Abby had sex, right? I mean, how could she not. 'Abby doesn't really have men over? does she go to their house? Wait, is it women? both?

'What if it's like some weird sex cult stuff, I don't think that's the kinda sex I want on my first time. What's that sound? holy hell I'm hyperventilating. BREATHE!'

"Oh dear lord." She finally gasps breaking free from her own chaotic thoughts. There was no way to tell just how long she was 'gone' but she could tell from Orion's grin that he'd been trying to snap her out of it.

Her head dropped low a bit, using the cover of darkness to hide a smirk. "Y-you know I've had a recent spell where people I love and trust have been telling me, what's good for me, or acting in my best interest" Chance started resting her hand on Orion's thigh.

"Sometimes, I fall into the line of thinking that I could be a detriment to myself. That they don't trust me to be me, But I would truly be doing an injustice to myself if I didn't give us a Chance--Pun Intended. I'm not worried about what could go wrong because things going wrong is what ultimately led me to you and Abby."

The raft periodically pass through cracks in the cavern, which briefly illuminate their faces; she saw how intently he gazed upon her, listening to every word the came from her mouth. 'He's so adorable,' She thought once again, using the cover of darkness to conceal a smile. "And as your girlfriend, and I am bragging, I can promise you that whenever you need to talk or a fruit cup. I am always here for you."

Chance moved a bit gently grazing his lips with her own, before interlocking her lips with his. She moved to try and plunge deeper into the kiss, only to send the raft rocking. 'Oh snap!' She thought, and before she knew it the both of them were deposited in the water.

"OH! I. Am. So. Sorry" She said standing in the middle of the river, shocked that they'd cap sized.

The last 15 minutes force Chance to digest a plethora of different things, all the while trying not to fall as a result of her knee's weakening from the dozy of a kiss Orion placed on her. And while he boldly took charge of the romantic gesture, she just kind of stood there, surprised. She didn't expect him actually to do it, nor did she know how to kiss.

Luckily, he was still in control of her hand because she was a bit light-headed. 'We have only known each other for about two hours. Yes, two hours, ' She thought, concealing a mixture of embarrassment in shock as she waddled a bit toward the ride.

Internally, she didn't want to get on the ride; they had many things to talk about. Though she couldn't help but feel that if they hadn't come to the amusement park, none of this would've transpired the way it did. 'Wait, are we like boyfriend and girlfriend now?' She thought, taking a seat in the small circle that would usher them down the dark river ride.

"Look, I'm sorry I've been on this ride before it sucks. We need to talk," She said, sitting under his protective arms with her legs crossed. Truthfully, it was a narrative children's ride she chose to conquer her anxiety.

"You're moving to Earth? Th-that's great" She finally got out, she couldn't earlier because of this kiss, as a matter of fact, she could barely think after the kiss. She didn't think he should be 'Thee Champion'; that was his father's legacy, he would need one of his own.

Her mind double back to the kiss, him moving to Earth, dates every Friday, and she had a question. It should've been obvious, but they were playing a game that involved hearts, nothing could be assumed. "So, I guess this should be obvious to me, but I have to ask. Are we like together now...?

He took her hands in his; their eyes met hers green, his a majestic silver; from there, inexplicable energy surged over her. It was as if a magnet placed between them drawing the cosmic deity to the lowly mortal woman.

As the sentinel of hope explained his feelings, she anticipated every word, clutching it like she did his father's cape for fear of losing it, or in this case for fear that she'd miss something.

'This man is perfect. Omg, is he too perfect for me? Oh, shut up, he just told you he liked you! But can I trust him? Shit probably should've thought about that before you let him fly you here, or get on a roller coaster.'

She wasn't sure how long she was lost in her own thoughts, but she could feel him ushering her back toward the ride, but on instinct, she pulled him back to her. No erratic thoughts, she opened her mouth and allowed her heart to tell the story.

"I like you too. T-this entire experience thus far will be a perpetual memory for me. I like to think I'll remember it even when my mind starts to go." Here it was again, that inexplicable energy surging through her body; she clutched both his hands for fear that letting go would cause it to cease. "But just now, when you were speaking to me, I felt like I was in one of those movies (Wait, does he even know what a movie is? FOCUS!), one of those movies where the guy and the girl have a sudden realization that they love each other. I think I had one of those moments. I-I guess what I'm trying to say to you is, I heard your heart calling out to me. And mine called back."

'Ugh! that was sooooo cheesy.' She thought internally but remained fortified externally. Now she was in uncharted waters; the only other man she'd ever like ditched her before she truly got to this point, but they stood in the middle of the ride line holding each other's hands as impatient people slowly began to pass them.

"Here's the million-dollar question, what happens next?" Before she could finish her sentence, someone yelled out, "You kiss!" which brought awareness to the fact that the two now had an audience. "I-I mean with you living there and me living here" She said blushing at the thought of kissing.

"I'm sorry, Chance".

She could hear the power in his voice through his chest; it was astounding mostly because as the words escaped his mouth, they were mellow and sincere. 'Wait, did I hear his words, or is that his heartbeat?' she thought, lifting her head from his chest. "It's alright," She managed to get out before wiping her sweaty palms on her shiny black leggings.

'How the heck did he manage to get me on a roller coaster in the first place' Her thoughts interrupted by Orion's own confession.

"I like you, Chance. We just met, I know that, but for whatever reason, I do. And the last thing I want is to scare you off, so thank goodness you grabbed my arm and dragged me away from that ride with you. And if I'm being honest, it wasn't really that fun"

'He likes me?' She honestly didn't know what to say. Instead, a look of confusion crept across her face. 'Why?' she thought, backtracking to earlier thoughts about why a god who could court any woman in the galaxy would settle for a woman like her. 'Am I selling myself short?' She thought but could imagine Abby answering the question. The thoughts subside, for now. His family members' extensive list included family members, 'bitch' she thought upon hearing Catalina's name. Cat was his sister, but Cat was her cousin. 'What kinda jerry springer shit is that.' She knew of Leo but had never met any of his father's specific children. She gathered that she'd run across them while training Maya on Deus at some point.

"Alright, let's go." She said once more, taking him by the hand in search of their next ride. "Yes, your father was married to my Aunt Ziccarra. She's a very...complicated woman." Chance recalled the time Ziccarra used her as quid-pro-quo in her legendary battle against Zeon; then it dawned to her that while she had their last name, she didn't exactly belong. "On my daddy's side, there's my sister Zeon and well...we don't talk anymore" She wouldn't go into the nature of her relationship with Zeon because she was conflicted and it was complicated. Abby was right; even after all she'd been through, she still loved Zeon. But she still deserved to pay for her actions. "I'm pretty sure I have a bunch of other brothers and sisters I haven't met for him. My dad was a guy who didn't stay at the same hotel twice"

Chance led him straight to the Gruffalo River Ride, a lighter water ride that'd turn her anxiety back to confidence. "On my mother's side, it's just me. I had a younger brother, but he's no longer with us" She'd just finished recovering from the loss of her actual family and thought it best to flip the conversation before becoming overly emotional. "You said you like me. Why? What is it about me that separates me from any other woman you've ever interacted with. And if you were me, how would you respond?" She asked with her head tilted slightly to the side in curiosity.

Her eyes scaled the steel structure heralded by the screams of Joy? Fear? Hard to tell this far down, but as she'd come to terms that this was the ride, he'd chose the Liafador Ace grit her teeth out of nervousness. 'Ugh, had to give him a choice, didn't I.'

As they move toward the coasters summit, she tried her best to keep her composure, but even the reassurance of being with a god couldn't ease the slight quiver in her body.

As the ride instructor fastened them into the seat, she double and triple checked the tightness before the ride began to move. "ohwoahwoahwoahwoah, this is bad" Before she could say anything else, the ride took off; the sheer speed forced her head back into the neck rest. While she tried to keep her eyes open, they instinctively closed every time they twist, turned, or dipped. 'I HAAAAAAATE THIS!' Her internal pleas turned into a loud squeal as the velocity of the ride cause tears to seep from her eyelids.

After a few more seconds of squealing and leg kicking, the ride finished, and the moment they were back on the platform, she unbuckled herself from the ride and quickly exited. Taking a moment, she placed her hands over her face to try and calm her nerves.

'You're ok, You're ok,' She reassured herself, trying to talk herself out of the internal panic; as the new batch of people prepared to enter the ride, she took Orion by the arm, forcing him away from the area so she would haven't to hear the people scream on take-off.

"I don't know if you know this, but I'm not the biggest fan of heights. Going to need a moment to gather myself." She said, stopping at the nearest bench. Sitting, her foot involuntarily shook as she shift through a series of breathing techniques to try and stop the shaking. She could vaguely make out people glancing in her direction, trying to see what the situation was. "Kanat, Hadhih fikratan saiyat, sayiya" She called out in her native tongue.

"So I guess we should probably get to know one another, you got in other brothers and sisters besides Tassi and Maya"

"I hope you won't tire out too quickly. Catch me if you can".

Initially, her jaw dropped in sudden shock; she didn't realize he'd catch on so quick. 'I know he's a god, but damn that was quick,' She thought internally while externally applauding him.

Whipping the steering wheel to the ride, she pressed on the gas and shot across the floor. A sly grin crept across her face, and he didn't even know what was about to happen. Though the young Liafador was oblivious to her latent enhanced luck, it always seemed to work in her favor when she was having fun. 'Gonna hit him with the Lebreau Royale,' she said, visibly riddled with laughter in her seat as the children knocked her every which way.

It was a maneuver named by her brother Elijah, and it was a two-prong attack that resulted in the bumper-car version of an "interstate pile-up" "Tell me, do gods feel fear!" She screamed, her voice drowned out by the whimsical music.

First, she ran into one child, an aggressor, a child that would want to hit her back. While evading the first child, she bumped into the second child, his friend. Lastly, she'd bump into another child to attract his attention before hitting Orion at an angle to prevent forward movement.

By now, the three children she hit would be moving toward both of them. "I told you no mercy! Oh by the way. You're choosing the next ride" She called out, blowing a kiss before reversing just as the three children were expected to make contact, instead of hitting the both of them. They'd only hit him.
