So cast rumors have been running around awhile for the upcoming 2016 Suicide Squad movie. As I'm sure most have heard, one of the cast being rumored is actress Margot Robbie(Wolf of Wall Street) who supposedly is in the talks to play Harley Quinn. Collider, a pretty reliable website, was the first to report this news in an article http://collider.com/harley-quinn-suicide-squad-movie-margot-robbie/

What do you guys think of the casting choice? I thought Robbie did a stunning job in Wolf of Wall Street, and she definitely has the look already down. It's only the writing I'm worried about.

They fist fight a lot but this is the only time that i recall her beating him fully in control

@supbatz: A thousand times yes! Honestly, this new Harley is becoming a boring Deadpool knock-off. I hate saying that! But it rings true to me unfortunately. Every issue literally feels like "Look how wacky and crazy she is" and lacks a lot of the depth that made me love her character. And I'm heavily against changing the nature of Harley and Ivy's relationship.. I don't think it's right to erase years of complicated history between the two in favor of "Omg they're besties XDD".

And Tom Taylor managed to create a charming, sympathetic, like-able, and deranged Harley in only a few comics. New 52 has been going on for 3 years and I still can't make myself like this version.

I like to see Harley on her own, because she can, with Ivy, because they make a good team, and with Joker, because their dynamic is really interesting and at times funny. I don't see why we can't have that. Selina has an ongoing relationship with Bruce but still manages to do her own thing and have her own stories. I don't see why it needs to be one or the other with Harley.

And the story was cute, but I expected something a little different.

The timeline doesn't really make any sense. Riddler is late 20s early 30s, Bruce is 8, Catwoman is a teenager? So I guess when Bruce becomes Batman his villains are going be up in their 50s and 60s? Yeah..ok.. that's a mess.

But I was never one for prequels anyway.

I believe Harley's voice actor is Hynden Walch. At least that's what it sounds like.
