Billionaire CEO is the only one that really fits with his character.

As of now, I do prefer when he was a researcher (that's my favourite, just ahead of CEO), but that's only because Slott has been withholding the sciencey aspects of Peter's new job. Practically, it makes more sense in every way for Peter to be a billionaire CEO as it just fits best with the main theme of the character. If only we had a larger spotlight on science, then I'd love it most too.

Dan Slott's run is pretty awesome.

It starts at Big Time and continues through Superior Spider-Man to now.

Brian Micheal Bendis on Ultimate Spider-Man is a great run as well.

I would suggest starting with the Spider-Man Big Time story arc (Issues #648-656) or Ultimate Spider-Man.

Another good place to start if you like Wolverine is the Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine series.

I would like to see Peter actually being a mvp in civil war II. Leading some heroes being strong making tech etc. There is no better time to do this than now because of the current direction of amazing spider-man book.

Even with the MAry Jane boost Iron Man can't compete. I know marvel won't give up but they should. and looks like Spider-Gwen is dropping fast just like in v1.

From what we know the story is going to be about Iron Man's team vs Captain Marvel's team.Whether Captain America will change sides or not is yet to be seen.

I didn't read the interview so maybe I missed something. But Falcon is on iron man's side (literally). How can we know for sure that Spider-man is against Iron Man?

It's taking advantage of Spider-gwen success. Remember that Gwenpool only exists in the first place because of Spider-Gwen.
