The Asgard-born thunderer flew over Grimm City, propelled by the insatiable momentum of his mystical hammer Thunderstrike. He noticed something amiss and descends quietly, nothing like his usual monumental entrances where he needed to smash monstrous foes or disrupt groups of henchmen. Tonight it was merely a mugging in an alley. He trod behind the armed thug and spun his hammer until the resulting slicing effect in the air caused a shrill and characteristic whistle. Both the robber and his elderly lady victim pinned their attention on the towering blond warrior advancing on them. Without question, the man recognized him as one of the Champions of Peace and relented, dropping his knife in the process of running.

"You are safe now m'lady, are you injured?" Skjovald asked the apparent victim in the struggle.

What he did not know was that he had walked right into a trap.

Anyone want to use Skjovald or Arcane in a battle?

Aldeon began to laugh as his foes commenced their plan. With Skjovald hurling Edward at the Lord of Ages with all his might, the Briton seemed doomed to fail. However, as the immortal god-emperor raised his hands to create a defensive barrier, he found his stomach being impacted upon by an unlikely force. Arcane Xavier rose from the lunar dust, growing from ant-size to giant-size in a matter of seconds, pinning Aldeon's limbs against his torso by grabbing him in one hand and exposing upper body. As the magical blade pierced his chest, Aldeon howled in agony. He seemed to be in much more pain once Skjovald hammered the sword deeper into his insidious heart accompanied with the chorus of a thousand thunders.

"This...is not...OVER!"

Twisting one of his arms out of Arcane's grip, he forced the sword out of his chest and threw it to the ground. Arcane, in the meantime, tried to smother him by pushing against his old master's face with his free hand - a bad idea. Within seconds, his flesh burned and smoked as Aldeon's eyes released a vicious tide of heat that crippled Arcane's hand and caused him to lose grip. Growing into a giant once more, Aldeon knocked Arcane to the ground with a monumental punch to his jaw, knocking down the giant genius back to normal size in one stroke.

"Do you see now that your lives have become inconsequential? Do you see now that I am immortal?"

"Edward!" Arcane coughed through his bloody teeth. "Janet, the computer built into my costume, managed to analyze his body while I grabbed onto him. He's still not fully reconstituted from giving Stephanie the Phoenix Force. Any strong magic will banish him back to the dimensional tether he has to this universe. Keep hitting him in conjunction with Skjovald's hammer! Just once more will do it!"

"Be silent! I should have snuffed you out while you were still in the test tube, you insignificant - " Aldeon barked shortly before catching Thunderstrike in the cheek. Though as a giant he barely moved, the pain was still there and he scowled at the two heroes Skjovald and Edward. The hammer floated back into the Asgard-born's grasp.

Skjovald looked at his leader and extended his hand while spinning his hammer in the other. There seemed to be an understanding.

"For Midgard."

This is going to be awesome.

"I shall allow this wish, mortal," Aldeon replied, shrinking down to his 'natural' size of ten feet.

"For it shall be your last!"

Raising his hand to atomize the British hero on the spot, he instead was met with a mystical hammer to the face that knocked him down to the ground. Thunderstrike returned to Skjovald's hand and he began to spin it around in preparation for another throw. The immortal Lord of Ages stood back up with little effort and charged his fists, ready for combat.

"Fools! You make this too difficult for yourselves, for you cannot achieve the impossible!"

Aldeon punched the air in front of him, sending a mighty pulse of energy towards the two heroes. Skjovald lunged for Edward, trying to move him out of the way by grabbing him and then throwing his hammer upward, therefore using the momentum to avoid the otherwise fatal dose of cosmic energy.
