Why is there no magic? Even characters rooted in magical/mythical backgrounds like Thor and Dr Strange are being changed into the 'advanced science' types of character.

It's a lot harder to round up some stories while trying to explain everything in pseudo future science, and way easier to say "it's magic"

And magic would make battles a lot more epic.

Although the DCEU tries to be 'darker'(please, lighten up,guys) than the MCU, it also(based on what I've seen of WW and SS)keeps magic as part of the character's background, which I like.

You know the secretary guy Lois Lane got her information from?

I thought that he could definitely be a reference to Calvin Ellis, president Superman from Earth 23(I think)

They called him 'Calvin' in the movie and he looks a lot like the comic Calvin Ellis as well.

And Major Ferris(The military girl) could be Carol Ferris, Star Sapphire.

If they get enough money and contracts to make this an ongoing tv series, I would honestly cry. There's the potential of a lot of humour when the Avengers clashes with the JL

I have a feeling that JL villains are going to bring much more damage to the world (and the heroes) compared to Avengers villains and it'd be interesting to see how that turns out.

If they make this a comic then I'm buying every issue.

It's not even comparable. BVS has it's flaws(yeah, some scenes throws me off too) but what was good outweighs the bad by a big margin.

Guys, we all know Supes wins here, it's okay to admit Thor would lose to a stronger character, doesn't make him any less of a hero, or a worse character.
