I'm not familiar with all of team 2, but I say that Team 1 wins. A lot of power on both sides, though.

Wendell explains the situation, and they send Waldo to the Phantom Zone if Waldo is found guilty.

Power wise, I'd say Quasar has the edge, although I am fond of Kyle's creativity.

Continuity isn't the problem, it's bad writers. A reboot won't solve anything if the same writers are in charge.

Kal will be weakened during this fight, since not just any yellow sun nourishes him... it needs to be the Super-Sun of the far future.

The Marvel Method is when the artist and the writer discuss what happens in story, and then the artist draws it, and afterwards the writer fills in dialog, captions and thought bubbles and any other words. It is important to be friendly towards your writer, because if you are fighting over plot-points, the pictures and words won't properly correlate, resulting in a pretty bad comic. It is also requires competence at both ends. Kittens are cute and hall monitors being Serious Business is a good concept. I don't see anything bad. What is the long term plot in both of these comics?

The Celestial TOAA? Spectre solos.

The Celestials name is One Above All. And there is The One Above All, who beats the Presence, GEB, MOE and so on, since all the 'real' gods in comics were created by a writer and something can happen to them, while The One Above All is supposed to be the writer which gives him the advantage of creation and obliteration.

The Seven Unknown Men are also writers.

In the Bible, Lucifer was actually the name of a Babylonian king. Lucifer as the devil is a misinterpretation popularized by the Divine Comedy and Paradise Lost.
Now, I'm not sure this is Norse mythology canon, but in Neil Gaiman's American Gods, Odin mentions 18 charms he possesses: "I know a charm that can cure pain and sickness, and lift the grief from the heart of the grieving. I know a charm that will heal with a touch. I know a charm that will turn aside the weapons of an enemy.I know another charm to free  myself from all bonds and locks. A fifth charm: I can catch an arrow in flight and take no harm from it. A sixth: spells sent to hurt me will hurt only the sender. A seventh charm I know: I can quench a fire simply by looking at it. An eighth: if any man hates me, I can win his friendship. A ninth: I can sing the wind to sleep and calm a storm for long enought to bring a ship to shore. For a tenth charm, I learned to dispel witches, to spin them around in the skies so that they will never find their way back to their own doors again. An eleventh: if I sing it when a battle rages it can take warriors through the tumult unscathed and unhurt, and bring them safely back to their hearths and their homes. A twelfth charm I know: if I see a hanged man I can bring him down from the gallows to whisper to us all he remembers. A thirteenth: if I sprinkle water on a child’s head, that child will not fall in battle. A fourteenth: I know the names of all the gods. Every damned one of them.A fifteenth: I had a dream of power, of glory, and of wisdom, and I can make people believe in my dreams. A sixteenth charm I know: if I need love I can turn the mind and heart of any woman. a seventeenth, that no woman I want will ever want another. And I know an eighteenth charm, and that charm is the greatest of all, and that charm I can tell to no man, for a secret that no one know but you is the most powerful secret there can ever be."  (copied from TVtropes.
I searched the internet for the original phrasing of those charms, and found the following from the Poetic Edda, translated by W.H.Auden and P.B Taylor.

The first charm I know is unknown to rulers
Or any of human kind;
Help it is named,
for help it can give
In hours of sorrow and anguish.

I know a second that the sons of men
Must learn who wish to be leeches.

I know a third: in the thick of battle,
If my need be great enough,
It will blunt the edges of enemy swords,
Their weapons will make no wounds.

I know a fourth:
it will free me quickly
If foes should bind me fast
With strong chains, a chant that makes
Fetters spring from the feet,
Bonds burst from the hands.

I know a fifth: no flying arrow,
Aimed to bring harm to men,
Flies too fast for my fingers to catch it
And hold it in mid-air.

I know a sixth:
It will save me if a man
Cut runes on a sapling' s roots
With intent to harm; it turns the spell;
The hater is harmed, not me.

If I see the hall
Ablaze around my bench mates,
Though hot the flames,
They shall feel nothing,
If I choose to chant the spell. [seventh]

I know an eighth:
That all are glad of,
Most useful to men:
If hate fester in the heart of a warrior,
It will soon calm and cure him.

I know a ninth:
When need I have
To shelter my ship on the flood,
The wind it calms, the waves it smoothes
And puts the sea to sleep

I know a tenth:
If troublesome ghosts
Ride the rafters aloft,
I can work it so they wander astray,
Unable to find their forms,
Unable to find their homes.

I know an eleventh:
When I lead to battle old comrades in-arms,
I have only to chant it behind my shield,
And unwounded they go to war,
Unwounded they come from war,
Unscathed wherever they are

I know a twelfth:
If a tree bear
A man hanged in a halter,
I can carve and stain strong runes
That will cause the corpse to speak,
Reply to whatever I ask.

I know a thirteenth
If I throw a cup of water over a warrior,
He shall not fall in the fiercest battle,
Nor sink beneath the sword,

I know a fourteenth, that few know:
If I tell a troop of warriors
About the high ones, Elves and Gods,
I can name them one by one.
(Few can the nitwit name.)
I know a fifteenth,
That first Thjodrerir
Sang before Delling's doors,
Giving power to Gods, prowess to Elves,
Fore-sight to Hroptatyr Odhinn,

I know a sixteenth:
If I see a girl
With whom it would please me to play,
I can turn her thoughts, can touch the heart
Of any white armed woman.

I know a seventeenth:
If I sing it,
The young girl will be slow to forsake me.
I know an eighteenth that I never tell
To maiden or wife of man,
A secret I hide from all
Except the love who lies in my arms,
Or else my own sister.

To learn to sing them, Loddfafnir,
Will take you a long time,
Though helpful they are if you understand them,
Useful if you use them,
Needful if you need them.

The Wise One has spoken words in the hall,
Needful for men to know,
Unneedful for trolls to know:

Hail to the speaker,
Hail to the knower,
Joy to him who has understood,
Delight to those who have listened.

That may not be much against YHWH, but it is more than enough to destroy a Babylonian king a thousand times over.

C.C.Beck and Bill Parker created him. Is there any reason in particular why his existence is so shocking?
