I think the biggest problem is oversaturation. If you put so many books out that I feel like I need to by a hundred a week just to keep up, I'm more likely to just throw up my hands and quit.

Too many big over-arching stories Take green lantern, I've heard nothing but good things about those books but I dont know where to jump on. Say I join at the start of a big arc, its a big investment to get all the books that cover the story and if it's a sinestro corps war then it'll be worth it but blackest night...I'll wait for the trade. I really wanted to join in on war of the green lanterns but it was for this reason I decided to wait it out. Thats why Im really liking x-force (shorter but great stories with background plot) and events such as siege (I only bought the four main books and enjoyed it thoroughly)
Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night were way better than War of the Green Lanterns anyways. Well, at least so far.
Glad to know Geoff Johns is sticking around, but I have to say I'm not too happy to know there's gonna be a fourth Green Lantern-related book. I felt three was more than enough. I don't want this to end up being like Batman where you would have needed a second job and an eighth day in the week to keep up will all the different monthly series.
I started watching Smallville a couple of years ago, and really, really liked the first two seasons. But even by the latter half of the third season, I felt the show had gone completely off the rails, so I don't know what the hell it's been doing since then.
He never flew until the final episode? Are you fucking kidding me? They had been teasing flight since the first episode.
Again, I only saw the first three seasons, but from everything I've heard, it sounds like they really dropped the ball with this whole series. And I don't mean that in the sense of being true to Superman, cause I'm not even a Superman fan.
I like the energy suits if for no other reason than it makes a cool scene when a GL's ring runs out of power and they change back to their normal clothes. It's a nice visual representation of their vulnerability.
I always found the idea of a high school kid making something like the web shooters insane even for a comic book, and the whole justification of "no man, the spider bite made him ABLE to create them!" is just as silly. If that's the case, why not just say the spider bite gave him web powers? It just makes more sense... you know, more sense in a "i got super powers from a radioactive spider" sort of way, but still...
