A Touch of Futuristic Medieval Fun 0

A tongue in cheek medieval comic story unfolds as Farnsworth invents a reversal ray. The device makes everything opposite of what it is. He asks Fry to take it to the garbage dump. Bender and Fry then both pay a visit to Fry's old cryogenics lab where he was frozen. Unconsciously Fry trips over a lost and found box and gets frozen AGAIN! Instead of waking up in the future, he wakes up 1000 years in the past! An almost similar past! There Fry meets a Knight Bender, a peasant Leela, King Farnswort...

Nixon Always WINS!!!!!!! 0

This one was like Decision 2012 meets The Day The Earth Stood Stupid. Watching a debate with Nixon, Bernie Burnman, and Fantastic Fours Invisible Woman that was being broadcast by Wolfman Blitzer, Fry ponders why people were so inarticulate to keep voting for Nixon. After a popcorn incident, people are fed up with Frys perpetual senselessness. Funny wordplay on Bernie Sanders and Wolf Blitzer. Meanwhile, Nixon is solicitous that he's behind in the polls. In comes Wernstrom, Farnswor...

Aptly and Appropriately Titled: Kif of Death! 0

Should've been called Death Kif.It's everything a fan can ever want from a Futurama episode and comic, and plays out as such, too! Amy gets some bad news when Kif calls her to inform her that she is dying. Leela and Amy agree to take Kif around to give him the most perfect wake ever.Kif acts like a total prima donna in this one! In fact, his disease enables him to take on the personality of his head honcho Zapp Branigan. If you have been hoping for Kif to lay into Zapp, you are in luck with this...

Tommorow! Tommorow! What a Hard Knock Life Bender will Have! 0

Annie meets The Most Dangerous Game.Planet Express funds are so broke, Bender was hoboing and Hermes had to get his surgery from Zoidberg. A rich alien named Daddy Bigbucks is looking to adopt an orphan. While Leela was doing some volunteer work at the Orphaniarium that's being invaded by bugs, Bender shaves off Frys hair and disguises himself Little Orphan Android. Trouble and complications arise when Daddy Big bucks reveals that he adopts red head orphans to hunt for sport. The subplot was sub...

The comic is appropriately titled New New New York: 0

Never fails. The fact that it seems like the last Futurama comic of the year, is often times the best comic of the year. In this one Fry and Bender are out late at night and notice that New New York is not what it used to be. It is free of anything evil or criminal. Fry goes to talk to Leela, Amy, everyone else about the changes, they all tell him he's getting old and doesn't see the changes like he does. Hermes and Zoidberg even declared him legally dead. Then Fry has an encounter with a myster...

Delving Into The Past of a Certain Spaceship Captain 0

Fry, Leela, and Bender are on a mission to deliver hair gel to the planet Teslatron. (A reference to the hair band, "Tesla, perhaps). Then they learn the Teslatrons worship Zapp Branigan. Then after the mission, they go to Kiff and Amy's place to learn the story of Zapp Branigan.Kiff tells how Zapp came to be. How Zapp was the best solider, how him and Zapp met, etc. Then after Zapp graduated to become a DOOP slider, Nixon hires him as a commanding officer and has a plan to clone Zapp!We also s...

Despite the First Few Pages...... 0

It was a very diverting story about Bender being enlarged to become a spaceship. Didn't really like the first few pages. (don't ask) But at least it got better as it went along. Wished Hermes could've been in it.Liked the rips on Voltron, Battlestar Gallatica, the leprechauns, mailman, and we finally got to see what was inside Bender. Fry turning a part of Bender into his apartment was funny. And Bender refused to upgrade his anti virus software until it was too late. Just like in Obsoletely Fa...

If You Thought Anthology of Interest Was a Wild Ride... 0

You're in for a treat with this one! Was very impressed with the What If Plot. This felt like it could've been an actual episode! Fry needs to have a tooth pulled out, and Bender inadvertidy blows up the What If Machine. Fry and Bender are advised by a monkey tailed Scruffy (maybe he's a mutant, too?) to pick up the pieces. Along the way, they meet a successful Zoidberg who wins at everything. And an average Leela who can read minds who never left the sewers. The others as 'Peanuts' characters...

They're Coming To Get You, Planet Express! 0

Hope our intrepid Planet Express Crew have some peashooters and cactuses on hand! But, in this one, they do not! Issue #73 was beyond epic! All the characters played such fantasic roles in this one. We got to see Chapek 9 again, a Dr. Strangelove spoof, references to Robot Chicken, Game of Thrones (with the Hypnotoad), Walking Dead, and Garfield and Friends. sensational story, and prodigous plot!Scruffy acted like a cross between Bender and Zoidberg in this one. Bender wanting some sick day...

Zoidberg is Lord Of This Ring! 0

Very remarkable comic book! After Zoidberg accidently swallows a ring, our favorite incompetant milquetoast lobster doctor transcends into a post-apcalyptic future! Zoidberg learns that Pres. Nixon is marrying Mom which has Farnsworth sort of crestfallen.Zoidberg must encounter the past where Planet Express was first being built which has everything looking like Mad Men, and then go back to the present and warn everyone. Then go back and must endure General Bender, Zapp clones, and a Doctor name...

Mama Mia! It's a Pizza Plotta! 0

It was a whimsical, humdinger of a story. Jimmy Palmotti did a spendid job writing for this comic. Hope someday in the future, he will write for more issues. It was about pizza, gangsters, and harboring illegal aliens! LOL! It was funny how Fry, Leela, and Bender were all in enamored with the people from the sauce planet! And how the three of them were arrested, and Bender dressed as a cop to save the people from the sauce planet! Liked the Saturday Night Fever reference where that little ga...

Bender Predicts DOOM! 0

Really groovy story this issue has! Our heroes go back to that Moon Amusement Park, and Fry and Leela go on a roller coaster, and Bender has fun in a Horror House! (Always wanted to see them in a Horror House), then he meets up with Morbo and fun begins when Bender becomes a news anchor predicting End of the World Doomsday Prophocies! Better warn the History Channel! Even Amy has a good role in this. Lots of funny illiuminati references too!Fry and Leela have to pay off a debt for the Ferris W...

Troop Grit is Troop Great! 0

Title pun is from the John Wayne classic. Then later was remade in 2010 with Jeff Bridges. The rivalry between Bender and Leela was distingsihed! Fry having a troop by himself and messing up (Amy's closet) was very certifiably uproarious. Good to see Hermes back again! The best parts were Hermes tazing Fry, Leela, and Bender. The flashback to Fry's childhood, the whole scene on the ailing planet were all awesome! Worth getting for any fan! Loved how Bender was teaching his troop to be evil!Li...

Where is the logic of Fry being a hero? 0

This issue should be boycotted. It starts off with Fry, Leela, and Bender on a picnic. Then they get ambushed by these aliens. The aliens throw a bomb at Fry and Bender which causes them to fly away. Then they surround Leela, tie her up and put her in a carriage page. Fry and Bender then track down the planet where Leela was being held. The minute he arrives on the Planet, Fry becomes tough, strong, and powerful, while Bender is reduced to being a cowardly sidekick. While looking around the pla...

Another Terrible Issue 0

The third issue where Leela is a kidnap victim once again. Zapp and Kiff go to a Nature Preserve. Zapp makes Kiff put a mind control device on a huge gorilla. Once the device is set on, Zapp commands the gorilla to get Leela for him. The gorilla goes out of control, runs amuck. As this was happening, Fry and Bender play a cruel prank on Leela where she sustains an injury. The gorilla seizes Leela King Kong style. But the gorilla doesn't heed Zapps order and instead unwittingly takes Leela to a s...

Bender Reunites With Robot House, Nothing Else.... 0

The only good thing about this comic book is Bender and his reunion with Robot House. Anything else in this comic is downright appalling. The Planet Express crew go to Mars to be camp counselors for a summer camp that's run by Amy's sorority, Kappa Kappa Wong. They sign up Cubert and Dwight to go. Zapp and Kiff are there, but the don't know Leela and Amy. Then Leela tries to figure out why Zapp, Kiff, and the kids are brainwashed. As for Fry, Bender, Zoidberg, and the others instead of being cu...

A Planet of The Dogs! 0

This comic is a MUCH better improvement from issue #41. This came out around the time Into The Wild Green Yonder was released. And at that time, it seemed like Futurama was gone for good after that. So at that time, I settled for the comics. Onto the comic. This is another story surrounding Fry's dog from the 20th century Seymour. In the beginning, everyone suspects everyone else for stealing from one another. Fry is upset that someone has kidnapped Seymour. Zoidberg discovers a footporint. The...

Facing The Wrath of Lrrr... 0

This comic book ruled! Tops my list of all time favorites. Why wasn't this made into an episode about the Omicrons instead of Lrreconcilable Ndndifferences? Any plot about Lrrr and his overbearing wife Ndnd you know will be spectacular. Fry Cook is the title. It's everything a Futurama episode should be. Loved how Fry was forced to be Lrrrs chef and then him and Bender are in competition who makes better food for Lrrr. Then Leela comes to save the day. Really loved Benders comic strip in this is...

Dummy Thumbs Up! 0

This was one fun comic book. You can't go wrong with Futurama in 2010. Cool new episodes on Comedy Central, and the comic books from that year ruled! Like this one right here. Dummy Up is the title. Leela learns she has too much stress in her life after a date with Cthulhu failed and Bender beat him up. Leela is then sent to a yoga class and sees Zoidberg and Fnog is there. Leela later gets put on some pills that make her believe things are talking to her. The best part of this comic is Benders...

One Of Futurama's Very Best 0

I loved this issue! One of my many favorites from the Futurama Comic book collections! Forget Michael Keaton, Bender is the original 'Bird Man' in this comic! The comic is called Chitty Chitty Bend Bend. In the beginning, Bender helps Fry practice knife throwing. Then Farnsworth takes everyone to Berlin for an air and space show. He's in a usual rivalry with his adversary Wernstrom. Then Wernstrom makes a mockery out of Farnsworth's invention and he falls into a deep depression Farnsworth wants...
