Things are finaly piecing togther on how the community is falling apart.  PLOT:                   The story starts off as Rick is on the phone again, with his dead wife and Carl walks in.  What makes this even more strange is the phone is unplugged. Incorruptible is a fairly new series that I just started reading about 2 months ago, and I bought all the back issues to catch up on it. The series is about a super villian named Max Damage that changes his ways and becomes a good guy. The reason? To fight a super hero that turns bad. It is a very oringal series and is written very well by Mark Waid and the art is very well drawn by Horacio Domingues.  Read this series you will not be dissapointed.          Issue #7 starts off, as Jailbait reco...

Well after a action packed battle with Conquest and Invincible in the last issue. # 73 lets you catch your breath and digest what just happend. With Conquest dead and Invincible badly hurt, Nolan and Oliver are forced to stay hidden on a planet for months to nurse Invincible back to health. The good? Oliver and his Father get to spend much needed time together. The bad? They can not fight in the war. Tech Jacket and Allen spend sometime together as well, and this adds some comedy to the issue ...

Secret Avengers is turning out to be a pretty good read. I must admit I was on the fence about this series, with all the hype and all, but the title does deliever. The team consists of Steve Rogers, Black Widow, War Machine, Moon Knight, Beast, Ant-Man, Valkyrie and Nova. In the beginning of the issue we find the team has traveled to Mars in search of Nova. Nova went M.I.A. after searching for missing workers on Mars and while exploring he found a mysterious crown. While the team is searching t...

Who is this artist? Todd Who? And Who is that mystery Villian at the end of the book? Man if I could go back in time to 1988 and relive that time in Amazing Spider-man, Where things were about to explode. This issue features Todd Mcfarlanes first issue. The first issue that you pick up and look at the cover a go holy crap!! Look at the detail this guy puts into his work. The main story itself was o.k. as Spider-man deals with our gambling man chance. Even that Villian looks bad ass the way Mcfa...

The Heroic age is here for the Avengers. Which is Iron Man, Both Captain Americas, Wolverine, Hawkeye, Thor, Wolverine, Spider-man and Spider-Woman. Oh yea!! Throw Maria Hill in the mix. I am very excited for this title. Bendis and Romita Jr. Make a great team and even though this is the first issue I love the feel of this this book.  I am not sure what I like so much about the book yet since it is only issue #1 But some of things I do like, is the great art. The wonderfull story so far, The A...

Koz's Comic Flashback 2

I picked this book up just to add to my collection. It was cheap so I said what the hell!! I am glad I did, it was a nice read, But a bit rushed in the story. This 1980 classic tells the story of Bruce Banners cousin Jen Walters on how she Hulks out for the first time, and how she got that way. When I read this book I felt like I was in a old 1970s Action show. She-Hulk back then was also ugly more like monster. Not like the eye candy she is today. This story also gives you the origin of the In...

If you do not read this series there  is something seriously wrong with you. this series is not your typical zombie let me eat your brains all out blood and gore. It is a character driven book and throughout the series there are many charaters that come and go and you will be upset when one of your favorite characters dies. I feel that this is Robert Kikmans best work yet. I love the Walking Dead and I hope it never ends. I picked up issue #1(a reprint) for free on Free Comic Book Day. Now it h...

This is the 1st full length story of Moon Knight. I am not a hugh fan of Moon Knight but I thought it would be cool to read the characters first real issue, and I must say I was dissapointed. The story was very rushed and the writer tried to fit way to much info in one issue with very little action. The flow of the book just jumped all over the place and it made it a little hard to understand the story. Moon Knight has Superb athlete and hand-to hand combatant Formerly, enhanced strength derive...

Um, I am almost speechless after reading this issue. All I can say is you half to have a one messed up mind to write this book. This issue does not just come close to pushing the limits, but it just pushes boundries wide open. I almost feel like I commited a sin or something after reading this issue. Issue #2 starts of pretty normal the family finds a place to stay. It is in the country far away from the crossed, they set up camp and prepare just incase the crossed Invades the camp. Setting up ...

Koz's Comic Review: This book is F@#ed Up!! 1

This title pushes limits That I have never seen before in a comic. I am talking about people walking around naked. People getting shot at and enjoying it. People pissing on other dead people. Body parts flying all over the place including Brains. People eating flesh and body parts,Others having sex in a shed with daggers stuck in them. This all happens in the first issue and I did not even get to the story yet. This Makes Walking Dead look like a Bedtime story. The overall story in a nutshell fo...

Do you remember way back in 1994? I do. Not only was it  the year I graduated High School, but it was a time Video Games were truly taking over, and comics at that time were in bankruptcy or trying to reinvite themselves. They were trying anything just to keep there readers, forget about getting new ones. Shoot the industry almost went under. 90's comics were just plain out bad!! But... there were a few hidden gems out there and it all started with writer Ron Martz's Green Lantern Vol.3 Emerald T...

This is the 2nd review of Marvel Adventures Spider-man that I am writting and I must say this issue is bettter than issue #21. Writer Fred VanLente Hits the Characters right on the money. Peter is Funny. Jonah is a blast he is such a smart ass and represents the character perfectly. Artist Cory Hamscher artwork seems to be very consistant and draws Spider-man very well I love how he draws spider-man in the Black Costume and the details and facial exspressions are awesome.  Plot Summary Ever sin...

Koz's Comic Review 0

I went to the Library and checked out this trade, it Collects Marvel Adventures Spider-man issues 21-24. I just got done reading issue 21 and I was happy. The book is written by Fred Van Lente and the art is done by Cory Hamscher. The art work is fresh and detailed with great colors. The plot was basic, but with the title geared for all ages it has to meet a broad audience.        The plot has to do with a teenaged Spider-Man dealing with Stilt-man, Leap- Frog, and Rocket Racer. The theree of th...

Koz's Comic Flashback: Incredible Hulk # 390 2

Todays Flashback comic is Hulk # 390. Written by Peter David and pencils by Dale Keown. This is part 1 of a 3 part story called War and pieces.        The only good thing about this book is the cover art. The rest of this book represents alot of the books in 90's just plan out bad story writting. The first pages start out as all hell breaks lose with giant robots destroying everthing in there site. One of the good guy soliders from Pantheon gets hurt, and out comes our hero the Hulk to save the ...

Right from the first page Haunt issue #9 is full of action. In this issue Haunt is on his first full fledge mission to find some of there best soilders missing in action. The mission is directed by Mirage but she is in a plane just giving the orders. Haunt right from the start, jumps out of the plane and starts slicing and dicing. The artwork by Greg Capullo followed by McFarlanes inks is top notch and very detailed.    There is some comedy in the middle of the book right before Cobra has to lea...

Time Travel Madness 0

As Kyle comes to meet up with his buddies Guy and John at Warriors Lounge. He finds the place trashed and John and Guy with there butts beat by Paralax. Yes Parallax. Both young Hal and Parallax in the same time period how is that possible? Well you have to read the issue to find out all that time travel stuff. In the end Parallax goes to the watchtower on the moon to stop the young Hal Jorden.  After getting the story from John and Guy, Kyle is not far behind .    I am really enjoying this stor...

Hal and Kyle together!! 0

I love Green Lantern and I currently have the enetire Volume of this series. So I will be doing alot of reviews on this book. In my opinion this is one of the better series in the 90's when the industry almost went under.  Writter Ron Marz comes up with some great stuff in this issue to have Hal and Kyle together, in a time where there are no Green Lanterns left. The plot has Hal coming 10 years from the past and as excited as he is to see Coast City, he finds out that it is no longer there. Kyl...

It was bound to happen!! 0

Writer Robert Kirkman does it again. He writes another fantastic issue of the Walking Dead. The community has been great for the group. However Tension has been building and Rick notices something strange going on with one family. At first he is on the fence on how to handle the situation. However after some thoght, and a talk with the community leader. Rick takes matters into his own hands. The events that happen later in the book are shocking.      In my opinion after everything that has ha...
