I've never started a blog before because I never wanted  become a part of a group of people that feels that their lives are interesting, that their voices are important, merely because they have means to communicate on a mass scale.  In short, I don't want to become the next  angry ginger youtube kid.  Blogs are a slippery slope, my friend.
 
If I'm going to be honest, I would have to tell you that the only reason I'm starting this now is because I really want to finish the vanity smurf set quest.  Alas, if I'm going to start one of these things, I might as well give myself a reason to come back.
 
I'm an art student at Savannah College of Art and Design and I hope to be a comic artist one day.  I don't have to be one of the greats- but if I can pay the bills for doing something I love I'll be a happy camper.  However, even to accomplish this, I have a lot of work to get done and plenty of portfolios to put together.  So, perhaps this blog should be dedicated to posting portfolio works for review?  Maybe just a sketch-a-day?
 
I've recently fallen in love with digital coloring and abuse the cintiq labs whenever possible.  If you have any original artwork that you would like me to color (during the school months), I would be happy to oblige.
 
Thoughts?  Opinions?  Constructive Criticism?
