I'd go for Venom. Perfectly constructed arc that gives Eddie a lot more motivation than what he had in 616, a reasonable goal and motive for what he did, as well as showcasing Peter as acting his age: he's brash, and does some really stupid stuff in this arc, and unlike most Spider-Man stories it actually makes this a BAD thing and something Peter needs to basically spend panels and panels apologising for.
I'm not a fan of the Black Suit being a throwaway plot for the sake of rushing everything but I think it really pushes that theme of acceptance in the face of extremely unfair odds and what that resentment can turn a man into if left unchecked (I.E the literal form of Venom eating away at his host) Wedding is also great for obvious reasons but I think it just misses out on the mark.
"This version of Jaspers. Is too powerful, too dangerous. His counterpart could at least be halted, even if it meant destroying his entire continuum. This one is not so easily containable. And if he cannot be defeated, then the omniverse shall fall into chaos, and a new and hostile god shall play dice with matter-Merlyn
