@impurestcheese: Sorry that it's taken me so long to read this. Unless I'm reading too much into this, that note about Kingville can be a perfect lead-in to Selfless. And I still want to know about the Shadow! He's like the guide in a video game that points you to where you need to go. Like in Arkham Knight
@black_arrow: From a business perspective I can definitely see their booting Snyder if it does underperform, but it would totally suck if they did that. Especially considering how you can see his directorial perspective being used in the other films (from what we've seen of Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad).
Obviously, I'm just hoping that BvS does everything I've wanted it to do and more (which is stand up in front of the entire world and shout, "WHERE ARE MY HATERS NOW?!!!!?")
I HIGHLY doubt that everything that guy was spouting was completely true. I think the movie will preform wonderfully critically and financially. My proof is that the screenwriter, Chris Terrio, is amazing and the actors are all top notch. Superman and Batman fans will flock to the theatres to see it and superhero fans in general will come to see out of pure curiosity/skepticism. I know a guy who has no faith in the movie that is still going to go watch it and I know for a fact that he's not the only one.
Theoretically, if this did underperform to Warner's expectations, why would Snyder get the boot? He does amazing action movies and cinematically, he does beautiful work.
