@lunacyde: I like it. Personally, I like the Bucs and Bills a bit more. The Raiders still make me nervous, but seeing as how they have the best record in arguably the best division, I can't make too much of a fuss. I think the AFC West is going to be a bloodbath, but as it stands now, they're on top.

Monday thoughts:

The Chiefs are in last place in the AFC West. They've had a tough schedule but yikes. That's a tough division and they could be in real trouble. The Bills, Ravens and Browns also look real. Gonna be tough to come out of the AFC.

Ben Roethlisberger is cooked. Wentz is not a difference maker. Dolphins should have picked Herbert.

Rams have the most balanced team. I thought it was the Bucs but they haven't stopped anyone. Now the team to beat.

If the Eagles win tonight, the NFC East will be a two team race between them and the Cowboys. If the Cowboys win, they're running away with the division. The WFT and Giants are non factors.

@anderioan: If you mean people who lose their jobs for things they post on social media or for going viral for bad behavior, I have no sympathy. Most employers have clear cut policies for these types of things. It's not hard to not post stupid things or act like a buffoon in public.

As for the vibranium, Klaw has the hookup. $10,00 per gram.

Why do people care so much about cancel culture? Most people that get "cancelled", don't stay that way for long, except for the worst of the worst, like R. Kelly and Kevin Spacey. People have short memories and most controversies blow over quickly.

@lunacyde: Perhaps I look at rankings a bit differently. I like to think of who should be favored on a neutral field. For instance, I'd favor the Bucs over anyone. I'd favor the Chiefs to beat everyone except the Bucs, followed by the Ravens to be beat everyone except the Bucs and Chiefs and so on and so forth.

I'm just cautious about buying into the Raiders, because, well, they're the Raiders. They've looked good thus far though and maybe Gruden has finally figured things out. The Ravens lost to the Raiders in OT with two fumbles from Lamar and a 3rd turnover. Raiders were also home. I feel like Big Ben is cooked at this point and the Raiders have a cupcake schedule coming up.

I know the Chiefs lost, but they still have the scariest offense in the league. Mahomes finally lost a game in September and it took a superhuman effort from Lamar Jackson, a costly fumble and going for it on 4th down. And the Ravens were also home. Credit to the Ravens for pulling it off despite giving up a pick 6.

I could see this being a good fight. They're both really good at improvising with their environment. Wick takes it based on 3 movies worth of feats vs. Kate who was pretty diminished mid way through.

It's a shame we didn't get to see Kate at full strength for the full movie. She might actually give John a run for pain tolerance. Would love a prequel.

Luna's NFL Power rankings after week 2

1. Bucs

2. Rams

3. Raiders

4. Cardinals

5. Ravens

6. Chiefs

7. 49ers

8. Bills

9. Cowboys

10. Browns

Agree or disagree?

I think the top 8 are the correct teams, though I'd shuffle the order a bit. I would drop the Rams and Raiders and bump up the Ravens and Chiefs.

The Cowboys and Browns are shakily in the top 10. I'm curious to see how the Packers do against the 49ers and the Chargers do against the Chiefs. If either win, they definitely slide in.

@frozen: Trying to follow... So because Cap was able to kick Peter against his momentum they're comparable in strength. Then next month Peter's strength has grown exponentially because a totally different iteration of the character from a different universe got stronger under different circumstances.

You can't just handwave Norman's lack of experience. Even if he isn't completely unskilled, there's a world of difference between their skill level and fight experience. Someone who's been in two fights will be at a disadvantage against someone who's been training and fighting for decades. There's really no other way to slice it.

Breaking out of a stronger opponent's hold isn't a strength feat, it's a skill feat. He doesn't brute force his way out. His opponent leaves himself open, he strikes him twice and then brings his head down to break the hold. He goes from a disadvantaged position to a neutral one. Panther getting into Clint's hold isn't an anti-feat for Panther, it's a feat for Clint and a nebulous one at best since we don't even see how it happens. It's not like Norman has skill feats to put him near Clint's anyway. And this is all assuming Norman even gets Panther into a hold, which I find dubious due to BP's superior skill and agility.
