Also i miss the old costume if they wanted they couldve just made it with pants. I felt that since she became Captain Marvel shes been writen better outside of her main title. Also not a fan of the new look she looks like Ellen joined Star Trek. But the ladies i have seen cosplaying it at cons have made me not hate it. But the Cosplay Variant girl makes the look work. Carol is a badass. She should be written as such. Samantha Carter, Starbuck its not that hard to write a female badass. Also i have had to explain to some in my store that she and Spider Woman are not a couple and they aren't having a baby. Although that wouldnt be a bad Alternate Universe story haha. Carol is geting the marketing she deserves but it just isnt done to suit her.

@uncanny_doom: Not really alot of us commenting have read her prior adventures. Ive read everything Jessica Drew has been in since her first apperance and this as well. It just doesnt suit her. It is a good idea for a comic but it just didnt work for me in this case. If IMAGE had done this it would be a series not 3 issues of pregnancy drama and much better care paid attention. Usually in Marvel the kid or character is put aside by later writers or used for some murderous drama and if she were a lesser knowm or newly created character she would be cannon fodder for later writers and their villan sues of the month or shed have a better chance being from another dimension like Spider-Gwen which she will probably be retconned into. I am glad you like it though and are enjoying the run. I havent really felt Dennis Hopless grasped her as a character. Also it just hasnt been a hit in the store i work at. Marvel would like to say they understand but they really dont when it comes to such things.

@avenging_knight: As a concept and plot device. Its ok. Maybe if you havent much else to read. If you are a long time fan of Jess then its really unsettling. Its geared more to anyone whos never read any appearance of hers prior to this.
