Guy was deemed the greatest by juubi madara himself, so EVERYONE, hashirama included, are inferior. Nobody knows hashirama better than madara after all, he's been on the receiving end a few times.

Of course, throwing an attack made out of two properties a character is explicitly immune towards will magically work somehow? Seriously, the attack wouldn't do anything even if he wasn't immune, doffy would tank that and fold both of them.

There are versions of madara that could win this, but this version is absolutely not one of them. Any of the yonko can solo outside of genjutsu, and he can't rely on that hitting all of them before a hit connects.

Swap this with the madara right after getting the juubi, and it swaps to a madara win with moderate or maybe high difficulty? Three eyed juubidara dog walks the verse obviously

Ignia is kinda a particularly bad matchup for hashirama I would say. Naruto characters have generally little to no heat resistance feats, and his wood is especially susceptible to fire. All that still might not be enough though, as hashi obviously holds every other possible advantage one could have.
