So this is the last issue? Why? Is it not selling well? Was there some sort of creative dispute? Really between the five issues pre- Secret Wars and these six, there has only been one arc. What is going on?

@inferiorego I have not heard of this Oscar Jiminez. When you say he drew Justice League twenty years ago, that must mean during the very end of the International era, right? (International era: 1987-1996)

From a writing standpoint, I'd say it would make most sense to brink back either Uncle Ben, or Richard and Mary Parker. (Those were their names, right?)

@mrfuzzynutz@2cool4fun: So it seem both of you have asked about Bloodlines. From what I have gathered from the solicits and some interviews, it will be more of a horror take on a small town besieged by the alien parasites from the original Bloodlines event, than a tale about people who get powers from the bites becoming superheroes. I believe it will be a six issue miniseries. It starts before Rebirth but continues a little after. It is not the only one. So will the Legends of Tomorrow anthology. And this time around is not like the launch of the New 52 where everything relaunched at once. Some of the initial Rebirth series are not being released until October, and as such, several of the current series are continuing, at least through June.

I think one of the complains about DC is how things like Darkseid War is handled. Batman is sitting on the Mobius Chair in Justice League while over in Batman and Detective he is "dead" or amnesic.

This is certainly nothing new. And quite frankly, this is exactly how it should be. Think about it for a second. DC did, for a while have a mandate that prevented this type of incident. As soon as Damian was killed off in Batman Incorporated, he had to be dead in Batman & Robin and every other title. This created a problem. You see, many Batman stories (or stories involving other characters) require the protagonist's full resources to be devoted to the current case. It makes no sense for Batman's full attention to be on some other case while also being devoted to finding say, the Joker. Mandates like this actually create continuity errors, in that Damian was now dead in every series, yet each series was telling its own story. The truth is a story arc may take six months to be published in a monthly comics series, yet take place within a couple days in universe. As such different story arcs in different series take place at different times. Popular characters will inevitably appear in multiple series' story arcs taking place in different days, weeks, months, even years. Much of the bits about what stories take place before others is unimportant and can be left to the individual readers' imaginations. In this case, at least so far, it doesn't matter. Marvel also has characters who appear in both a solo and a team series, published at the same time, doing different things. Sometimes they clarify which events happened prior to others in their Official Handbooks, but if quite often really doesn't matter. So I really don't understand why so many people gripe over these matters. But issues such as what arose from Damian's death really do have consequences. I think the publisher realized that trying to coordinate in universe events with the real world publishing schedule line-wide is no way to go and will refrain from trying to do so for the foreseeable future. I'd also like to say that, correct me if I'm wrong, but this complaint of yours is generally one held by folks who came into comics with the New 52 when they were doing these linewide coordinations, because they were not the norm for decades prior and I don't recall people complaining about it then.

@apokos7: Darn! I hadn't even noticed that they axed Johns' original JL #51 issue. Here I thought he'd be on through #52. Everything you've said seems to check out. Though, I'm sure you're probably right, solicitations for #52 were just released this week for the first time and the Diamond distributor's website lists Sam Humphries writing about Dick as Robin. So I'm not sure where you heard about that story being Abnett's or Humphries originally writing about Jessica Cruz.

@the_stegman: The new creative teams for the DC series are supposed to be revealed at some conference this weekend. Therefore, if they had released the solicits as regularly scheduled, everyone would already know the content of the upcoming announcement. Therefore, it would make perfect sense for them to withhold the solicits this month. They probably will be available next week.

@donfelipe: What is "ORRGO"?

@scrappydont27: I may be wrong, but I highly doubt anything in that issue will affect the plotlines in the other series.

@lagozzino: Although they sometimes have different titles tie in with events on a month to month basis. So if you'e happy about he state of things in June, you may still be irritated by what will come in July.

@longbowhunter: This is the exact part of the month in which the solicits have been coming out.

@theexile285: Just be sure to let your LCS know to omit that issue from your pull list before the FOC date.

@king_nomarch: @Feartheliving: I was wondering about Blade and Gamorra as well.

@outside_85: You're probably right about the age thing. But if so, what the sprock is this character doing in a book called Teen Titans. However, what makes you think this is Cassie Sandsmark? It would make more sense to me for them to use Donna Troy if they are using Silver Age characters. As for the mystery character, Kole and Argent are both good guesses. I'm still thinking it might be Tula. Given how much they changed Garth, the original Aqualad, they may have just changed Tula around too.

I don't mean to sound like a prick but it looks like the publisher has heard the complaints of the extreme feminists (such as the ones about the cover to Will Pfeifer's Teen Titans #1) and gave us a ridiculously flat-chested Wonder Girl.

I do think the guy on the left side of the top will be Kid Flash, but the one on the right cannot be Aqualad because the fish character to the right of Cyborg is. The mystery character in question looks sort of feminine. Possibly Tula?
