Because of power just because there is no corruption doesn't mean people won't have power and go to war to get. No political corruption just means that politicians can be brought. If you call USA a liberal country (some would argue it is a conservative country) then yes liberals have fought plenty of wars against socialist/communist countries. The most significant Nicaragua and Chile.
War, terror, violence and so on won't stop because there is no corruption. Corruption is just a tool to get power.
Using power for personal or political gain is a characteristic of corruption...
Yes corruption is when you using political power for PERSONAL or political gain. However people would still fight for survive and a country could still do with is best for their country without it being corruption. If country A is starving and country B has a lot of food but they are not willing to give it away. Then country A could easily attack country B to get the food and the earth so the could grow more vegetables. That would not be corruption in anyway. People would still fight to survive.
Nah. Using power for your benefit and at the expense of others is also corruption.

I agree that it is a little bit crazy. Some of these guys are guaranteed to kill again the moment they can. Superheroes that have a strict no-killing policy are nice to have but they should know to stay out of the way when others with more practical sensibilities come looking to stop a villain.
