MCU Feats within Scripts

So recently for a CaV, I looked at the Thor: Ragnarok script in order to cover some stuff about a feat and some clarification. But there's actually a lot of really interesting stuff in the script, but for the purpose of this post, I'll focus on what comicvine cares about most, feats. So far the MCU has released scripts for Avengers, Thor, Thor: Ragnarok, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. I didn't read Guardians 2 because I doubt there's much about feats in there and it was not entertaining like the Ragnarok/Avengers 1 ones(I read the Avengers 1 one just for fun, the amount of times Joss Whedon describes an action as "Like a boss" is astounding). Anyway, it is worth keeping in mind that a lot of the stuff in the script changes by the time the final movie comes along, especially in movies like Thor: Ragnarok where there's quite a bit of improve. Additionally, I'm not saying things I post from the script are fully legit or impressive or consistent or anything like that, it's just fun and interesting feat related things I saw while reading the script. It's also pretty likely I missed stuff since I really just skimmed it, but onto the FEATZ!

Also all scripts can be found here and gifs are shamelessly taken from respect threads(AMCU's Thor RT is a beast), because I don't have time for that and they aren't important.

Thor 1

For this I'll post a gif of the feat and then the text

Firstly for when Thor uses his lightning on Johtenheim, the script confirms that the collapse of the ice is due to the shockwave of Thor's lightning bolt

Next(skipping quite a bit), later in the movie when Loki blasts Thor with Gungir, the script reveals Thor was hit through multiple walls and hallways before falling off of Asgard's tower

The third part of the script isn't a feat per say so I won't post the Gif, but rather a statement saying/implying that Loki changed some of the settings of the Bifrost in order to make it planet bust(though Jotenheim is also confirmed in the script to just be a hollow ring of ice.)

The next part is also not really a feat, but seems to imply that Thor held back in his fight against Loki as he was only fighting in self-defense. This is also implied in the movie imo, but I think it's a bit more clearly stated here

The final actual feat from Thor is that when Thor hits the Bifrost to break it, the script confirms that his hits were actually shaking the Bifrost and the Observatory, which is pretty big.

Avengers 1

The first feat is an outlier imo and not really shown in the movie, but I thought I would present it anyway. When Thor takes Loki and he drops Mjolnir, the script states the dropping Mjolnir shook the mountain they were standing on

The next feat is from when Captain America interrupts Iron man and Thor and Thor "puts the hammer down". The script says that Thor's shockwave off Cap's shield actually destroyed everything within a mile.

To mix it up, the next feat actually has nothing to do with Thor, but rather Cap. On the Hellicarrier when Cap breaks into Shield to find out about their secret weapons he has to open a heavy door, the script confirms that the door is Iron

During Thor's fight with Hulk in Avengers, Hulk hits Thor and Thor wipes something off his face. Now I think it's obviously blood, but I've seen people contest this, but the script does confirm it's blood

Now, back to Thor, when Loki traps Thor in a container meant to hold the Hulk, Thor hits the cage and causes some shaking, but the script says Thor violently shook the Helicarrier

This next part is about Iron Man and is a bit more of an anti feat as when Iron man went through the motors his suit was pretty badly damaged

However, the next feat is actually a positive feat for Iron Man, in the battle of New York, Tony uses a bunch of missiles which the script describes as a mini Jericho(missile from Iron man 1)

Later on during the Battle of New York, Hulk seemingly pulls down a Leviathan, a great feat of strength, however the script reveals the Leviathan went down on purpose to try to shake off Hulk. So while Hulk pulled the Leviathan to the side, he didn't pull it down.

The final feat for Avengers is a more positive note for Hulk as it looks at when Hulk was taking a ton of blasts from Chitauri ships, but the script seems to imply it didn't hurt him much at all, also says it was hundreds of riders

Thor Ragnarok

Ragnarok holds the most, and I would say the most interesting information garnered from the script.

Starting off is something I think is quite obvious, but I've seen contested on the battle forums anyway. This is of course whether Thor broke the chain before or after getting mjolnir and the script confirms it was before

The next part is both clarifying for Thor and actually a feat for the dragon. The clarification is that Thor's momentary confusion is from being tested by the fire demons and the dragon actually caused a miniature earth quake

The next part also involves Thor and the dragon, but actually says Thor flying away from the Dragon was Thor moving at his top speed.

The next part is a bit of an explanation of the controversial zapper thingy from Ragnarok, as it apparently gave Thor the pain of a thousand screaming squirrels?

After this, the script begins to move into the Thor vs Hulk fight, wherein the script shows once the fight really begins and up until Hulk catches the War Hammer, Thor was actually winning the fight

No Caption Provided

Now, this next feat involves the end of the fight with Hulk jumping to land on Thor. His impact is compared to that of a meteor and he's compared to an atom bomb(whether that's figurative language or not is up to you)

After this we skip to Asgard where Hela attacks the hidden Asgardians and her necroblades apparently shake the entire mountain.

Next comes a more bleak feat for Hela describing the damage Thor's massive lightning bolt dealt to her and it's pretty severe she even "appears unconscious"

The next big moment of power in the movie is Sutur's arrival, which the script reveals has more then meets the eye. The script shows that Surtur's arrival created massive fissures within Asgard

Immediately after this Hela seemingly gets Koed by Thor's lightning and the rainbow bridge breaks, however the script reveals that Hela was only trapped in one of Sutur's fissures he created and was only so affected due to lightning being channeled through dragonfang. Also it reveals Thor and Valkyrie were "badly injured" after the battle

Later on when Hulk jumps on Sutur, Surtur is staggered, however the script reveals this is partially due to being surprised instead of just by force.

Ending on a brighter note for Hulk, when Hulk carries Thor and Valkyrie to the Asgardian ship, the script states that the ship is in Asgard's low orbit

Conclusion

Overall, I think the script for these movies show some interesting perspective on feats for these characters. All I did is post them, how you interpret them is entirely up to you.
