1. WTF IS WITH BEAST BOY

A. So apparently tim died, and to greive beast boy now throws parties at his rich uncle's house

B. Oh and this was a gem:

"since we're probably going to get married and have beautiful athletic children I'd better introduce myself". Great opener right there. Best part? The lassie named tina(sorry tyra) is cool with it. Clever writing for the win!

C. And then this person beast boy has never heard of before knows that beastboy is gar(no explanation whatsoever)

D. Oh and beast boy doesn't crack a single joke, not a single one, nah he's too busy partying as a way to deal with the death of his former friend(though to be fair, new 52 tim was annoying as hell in teen titans.)

E. The hair *sighs

e. Well he does just randomly turn into a shark and scare a girl 'he was probabally going to marry" off, so I guess that was er...funny.

2. Starfire's was decent

B. oh and "the heat is delicious" was a decent character moment as was the connection between her origin as a slavae abs stopping slaves

A. Why is it for everyone of these heroes, we're starting off with their loneliness/"love addiction"/identity crisis/"emptness soothes me"? How about one liners, humor, moment of badassery,origin tory call back? Why can't the introduction to a team of teenage heroes be...fun?

B. How the heck did the police officer didn't notice wally was going superspeed?

C. RACIAL PROFILING

D. Shoe horned lecture for all teenagers from discount iris

So maul found out kenobi is alive in star wars rebels.....

I'm hoping it happens ina kenobi sw movie

my idea(copy and pasting from a kenobi movie idea i had)(IT HAS HONDO):

i see maul having a nightmare about kenobi and his failures manifest themselves in kenobi who in the vision he's powerless against and kenobi taunts him about how he has lost everything. Then maul wakes up and despairs that kenobi has nothing he can takew away from him as he lost everything, but then he somehow finds out that anakin has a child and plots his revenge. He goes to tattoine(he finds kenobi's planet somehow) interrogates hondo who tells him kenobi's too powerful, maul says something like kenobi is now a shell of who he was, hondo eventually has the info forcibly removed but hondo says he cna't beat kenobi, maul gets enraged and trys to kill him(he was going to kill him anyway) but hondo being hondo finds a way to escape.

He warns kenobi and offers to0 help but kenobi tells hi, not to so he doesn't endanger him.

Then maul finds kenobi and after initially being stonewalled starts undermining him by saying

"not bad kenobi, you've held up well, i wish i could say the same, about that... order of yours"

kenobi who initally just let maul come to him charges when maul charges showing he's starting to be unbalanced

maul then engages in a bladelock and is like:

"how about your old master" kenobi pushes him back(showing his growing anger

"i hear he's in the same place as that dutchess i killed on mandalore"

Now kenobi gets pissed and charges without maul charging(showing he's now been unbalanced) maul engages kenobi who due to his recklessness leaves an opening for maul to kick him

Maul then says

"thats not the jedi way, though i suppose their beliefs died with them"

kenobi recklessly charges and maul simply sidesteps him and pushes kenobi dwn to the ground via tk.

"I shouldn't be suprised though, you did train the man who killed them all afterall"

kenobi cvharges again and now maul lands a flurry of kicks on him sending him crashing against ma wall.

Then as kenobi gets up, maul stomps him against the ground

"I thought I failed, You'd already lost everything"

maul grabs kenobi with his leg and slams him against the home

"but then you wouldn't imagine my joy when i learned you had one last hope(kenobi jerks his head up realizing what maul is talking about), one last hope I could extinguish"

"Oh yes kenobi, i will kill you, but only after I kill the only thing preventing you from full despair"

Maul flings across the sand to the ground.

Then the twin sun sw tune starts to play and kenobi gets focused saying

"This ends now"

Maul says "indeed it does"

and he jumps at kenobi who unleashes a incredibly powerful tk blast pushing a good distance away. As maul gets up there is an expression of fear and suprise, it cuts to kenobi who stares at him cooly, maul then charges. Kenobi parries two strikes then cuts maul's blade in half maul is staggered and barely pulls his split blades in time to defend against an overhead assault from kenobi who then slams g=his blades into the sand and with his free left hand some of maul's horns off(old wounds reference). Maul struggles to get up and then charges again with kenobi disarming one of maul's blade and punches him again with his right hand(this is meant to show kenobi's anger) Maul now desperate charges up and unleashes a force blast at kenobi in a last desperate attempt to save himself but to his shock kenobi is unaffected. kenobi then stomps maul down on his chest while he tries to get up(like maul did vs kenobi). Kenobi then force chokes maul, pulls him to his hand, and slams him against the same wall maul slammed him against. Now on the brink of killing him he hears a sound

luke cooing, kenobi realizes what he's about to do drops maul.

And then maul stunned says "you're showing me mercy?"

kenobi: "you've been taught all your life there's only power in hatred, but there's far more power in love"

and then kenobi gives maul one of his sabers and lets him leave with maul finally letting go of his hatred crushing the saber grip he was given and kenobi seen smiling.

My two cents:

10/10 GODDAMIT!

Objectively speaking i'd say thats the second best movie I've ever watched(after empire stikes back) and its my 4th favorite movie of all time(sorry godfather)

Its gone downhill, really down hill:

1. Meena's dead, we're supposed to be sad, I'm not

2. Its never come across barry's mind that the wally west of this earth might also have the superspeed his pc counterpart had

3. Godspeed is after speedsters, Wally is a speedster, Barry doesn't stop wally

4. Iris lets wally run off, great aunt

5. Godspeed is Barry's best friend, does his character motivation make any sense? no. Was it a cheap plot twist? Likely.

6. Godspeed's explanation for going eveil makes no sense, what so ever

7. Godspeed is faster than Barry. Well then, he's done for, its not like barry can manipulate time to speed himself up. Or like varry controls something that encompasses all of dc reality which he can instantly bfr godspeed to. Its not like Barry can calculate every single scenario

People seem to believe that Kenobi has a weak force defense due to it being continually breached in canon. However it being breached is almost always circumstantial

For example, vs ventress:

-ventress was rage amped

-kenobi was pre prime

vs opress:

-Opress was rage amped

-kenobi was pre prime

-oppress had just ragdolled dooku and ventress at the same time

Opress also force pushed kenobi twice in revenge though I can't find a clip with that:

still context:

opress ambushed kenobi

Now most infamously he has gotten ragdolled/ tkd vs maul. However there is some context people seem to just blatantly ignore.

First off Kenobi in all these showings was pre prime in terms of force powerper

a. Labrynth of Evil

b. Kenobi's rots novelization showings

c. Kenobi's showings in Clone:Wars wild space

Furthermore every single time maul did this it was circumstantial.

In sith hunters:

Maul had just ben amped by this dream:

Not to mention this was before rots where Kenobi showed he could break out of ragdolls(I will provide the quotes, promise).

Here's the next one:

Kenobi clearly can be ragdolled without maul without circumstantial help, right?

Actually, this is false:

Note that as kenobi's head begins to turn, Maul's hand is already outstretched, meaning, maul tkd kenobi while he had his back turned and was focused on opress who he had just incapped. So a desperate maul decides to cheapshot Kenobi.

Despite this Kenobi takes out opress and a frustraion amped maul(similar to how ventress and opress were amped v anakin and kenobi) doees this:

And this is off course before rots kenobi shows he can deflect force blasts and break out of ragdolls from powerful force users

And off course this one:

This is so obviously circumstantial...

a. Kenobi had been running from mandlorians for several minuites

b. Kenobi had just survived a plane crash

c. Kenobi made no attempt to fight Maul

Vs Dooku:

-kenobi was blindsided. That being said, unlike the other opponents who have done this to kenobi, there should be no question at all that dooku can replicate this vs prime kenobi without blindsiding him as he has tkd the indisputably more powerful Anakin.

However using the other instances would be the equivalent of me using these to say kenobi=anakin:

In fact using this flawed logic, I can say vader>sidious:

CONTEXT IS IMPORTANT

Now for his force defense showings:

Anakin starts to ragdoll kenobi

It's not compassion," Obi-Wan said sadly. "It's reverence for life. Even yours. It's respect for the man you were." He sighed. "It's regret for the man you should have been." Anakin roared and flew at him,using both the Force and his body to crash Obi-Wan back into the wall once more. His hands seized Obi-Wan's wrists with impossible strength, forcing his arms wide.

"I am so sick of your lectures!"

Dark power bore down with his grip. Obi-Wan felt the bones of his forearms bending, beginning to feather toward the greenstick fractures that would come before the final breaks.

Oh, he thought. Oh, this is bad.

kenobi then focuses and breaks out of anakin's tk grip:

With Anakin's grip on his wrists bending his arms near to breaking, forcing both their lightsabers down in a slow but unstoppable arc, Obi-Wan let go. Of everything. His hopes. His fears. His obligation to the Jedi, his promise to Qui-Gon, his failure with Anakin.

And their lightsabers.

Startled, Anakin instinctively shifted his Force grip, releasing one wrist to reach for his blade; in that instant Obi-Wan twisted free of his other hand and with the Force caught up his own blade, reversing it along his forearm so that his swift parry of Anakin's thundering overhand not only blocked the strike but directed both blades to slice through the wall against which he stood. He slid Anakin's following thrust through the wall on the opposite side, guiding both blades again up and over his head in a circular sweep so that he could use the power of Anakin's next chop to drive himself backward through the wall, outside into the smoke and the falling cinders.

Kenobi then deflects force bllasts from Anakin;

deflecting Force blasts and countering strikes from this creature of rage that had been his best friend, suddenly comprehended an unexpectedly profound truth.

What makes this even more impressive is Kenobi wasn't at his highest level of focus which he would achieve here:

The man he faced was everything Obi-Wan had devoted his life to destroying: Murderer. Traitor. Fallen Jedi. Lord of the Sith.

And here, and now, despite it all... Obi-Wan still loved him.

Yoda had said it, flat-out: Allow such attachments to pass out of one's life, a Jedi must, but Obi-Wan had never let himself understand. He had argued for Anakin, made excuses, covered for him again and again and again; all the while this attachment he denied even feeling had blinded him to the dark path his best friend walked. Obi-Wan knew there was, in the end, only one answer for attachment...

He let it go.

So to tk kenobi as of rots, let alone beat him with it, you need to be more powerful than anakin in his hindered state on mustafar. While hindered rots anakin was>tcw anakin and as a padawan anakin was capable of

a. stopping dooku from moving back with a force wall

b. deflecting force blasts from ventress

c. manipulating dreadnaughts

The only previously mentioned force user imo who is likely(and in this case certainly) capable of tking prime kenobi is dooku.

Dooku drained himself to hurl and throw him:

Ragdolling kenobi drained dooku(To begin with, Anakin and Obi-Wan did well, pushing Dooku back and destroying the B2 droids.Realizing that each Jedi was a threat on their own, Dooku abruptly switched tactics. He lifted Obi-Wan in a choke-hold, simultaneously kicking Anakin out of the way and hurling Kenobi across the room, bringing down a section of walkway to trap him there. However, inexpending all his energy to dispatch Kenobi, the Count was left helpless before Skywalker's rage.)
