  Probably the number one contender. Well the answer is NO. Superman is definently not stronger than goku. First lest talk about silver age superman (the strongest version) in terms of physical strength superman might actually have Goku on that. Base Goku could barely support 40 tons, ssj Goku (which supposedly incresed his strength 50 fold didn't even notice the weight and if he went higher ssj2, ssj3, ssj4, his strength would increase yet again by many times meaning his minimum weight lifting capacity would still be in the thousands of tons. in terms of speed both goku and Superman can move at the speed of light but Goku's is in the form of teleportation easily confusing superman. fighting skills, even Superman fans know this one goes to Goku. in terms of blast power Superman can shoot heat rays form his eyes, and gales from his mouth as well as ice. But Goku has blasts capable of destroying planets in an instant. Goku easily wins this one. Also, even if Superman silver age is stronger than ssj4 Goku (which he isn't) the new shogun jump ssj5 goku easily wraps this up and ssj7? Enough said !
