It's been a long time since I've made one of these, so apologies if I'm a little rusty and this isn't as debatable as I think it is... That said, I am pretty confident this is a fight that is at least fun to think about, even if you are feeling certain about which side eventually earns the win.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES
(Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Raphael, Donatello)
MOON KNIGHT, DAREDEVIL, THE PUNISHER
TMNT are standard IDW versions
Team Marvel are standard 616 versions
Everyone has their standard gear
The battle takes place in a standard city setting - neither team is familiar with the city, so no one has home-field advantage
Let's pretend it's 3am and all civilians are inside, so to them it's unpopulated and dark out but all street lights are on and some buildings have lights on
Teams begin 200 feet apart, visible but surrounded by a lot of options for cover (parked vehicles, buildings, alleyways, sewers, etc)
The entire city setting is on limits (let your imagination run wild!)
Everyone is operating in character but will not take any action to hinder their own teammates (for example, Daredevil will not prevent Punisher from taking a shot)
Standard elimination rules apply (KO, incapacitation, death)
As always, please remember this is just a fun discussion about fictional characters. Exchange thoughts, disagree (or agree), but never make it personal or insult other people. After all, we're all here because we love talking about comics. Thank you.
I'll be leaving Comic Vine. I've been an active account holder since 2012. I started out under the username Omnicrono and had it changed a few years ago to Gracetrack.
I'm not under any illusions that anyone will care all that much about my leaving, but there are a couple key reasons for my departure which I'd like to highlight:
1) From what I have seen, the site has been on a steady decline (pretty much abandoned in terms of actual new articles and news) for quite some time now when it comes to the people who are supposed to be running it. No hard feelings or ill will here in the slightest, just an observation.
2) Beyond that, there have been spam threads hitting the forums, but far more disheartening in recent times is that people seem to be more easily getting away with the posting of pornographic images in the threads. I've accidentally ran into two pornographic images/GIFs in as much as about a month's time, and I'm not someone who frequents a lot of topics/threads. I visit maybe two or three threads per day, on average, and always within either the General forum or the Battle forum. Long story short with this one: having the risk of accidentally running into any pornographic images is just plain not something I am willing to risk. And again, I suspect this problem might have something to do with point #1.
It has been a good run, and for the most part I have enjoyed my time here posting comments, sharing opinions, and debating with like-minded people who are as passionate about comic books as I am.
A few people to whom I'd like to give a shout-out and say thank you; for your posts, your replies, for your contributions, for some passionate and friendly discussions over the years: @k4tzm4n, @moon_bat_87, @buckwheat, @jashro44
I don't know any of you guys personally, or very well at all beyond occasional brief encounters here and there, but nonetheless you made an impression on me in one way or another, and I appreciate you and pray all the best for each of you, for what that is worth to you. Fond farewell.
I didn't always get it right with my etiquette and manners, and for any of those times where I faltered, I apologize, but my hope is, if I leave any legacy at all on the Vine, that it will have been a positive one.
I'll wait a few days to see if this message gets any sort of response, then I will be bidding farewell, permanently.
Grace and peace in Christ,
Thanks for the kind words, Jake. I hope you continue enjoying comics and find a more satisfying way to share that passion with others. Take care!
