Really love the continuation from the phone call with Will, really ties both blogs together! Barb is shaping up to be quite a mischievous and legitimate threat to the Outcasts, and I'm looking forward to every seconds of it!
There's something bittersweet about Reed trying to find a cure for a seemingly incurable disorder, it shows how highly he regards his own intellect, which ironically, can be attributed to the very diagnosis he gave himself. Much like you said, it does a great deal to humanize the character, and makes him feel that much more real to us the reader. He's not just some super genius who has all the answers, he's flawed because of that nature, and it's something that he struggles with just like everyone else.
I like the direction you're taking this and I loved this start to it! Great read, Reed. I expected nothing less from you ^_^
