(Hey guys, I'm back! Gonna try to embellish/edit the last post a li'l.)
"My my, looks like someone needs our help. What do you think we should do about this?" Crowley asked Moonlyte.
"We going to start saving kittens from trees, next?" Moonlyte snarked, though she was already slinging her rifle from across her back, taking aim. She had no doubt that they'd end up getting mixed up in this one way or another -- from what she'd seen of the Mad Hatter across from her, he could stumble over a candy wrapper without getting involved in its life. Nonetheless, gaining a reputation among the common people synchronized well with her plans. It could be surprising what might be accomplished with the affection of the people. "But hey, I could use some target practice. Been a while since I shot something."
Crowley turned his attention to the doll on his shoulder. "What about you, Alice?"
"Maybe we can loot his corpse when he dies!" The doll cackled.
Crowley let out a slight chuckle. "The two of you are so cold. You know, in times like these someone owing you their life can be worth quite a bit in the long run. I think we should help." He said, while pulling his sword out of his cane.
He was right, but Moonlyte wasn't going to admit that so freely, not this soon after meeting him. "Whatever," she said, closing one eye as she looked down the sights of her musket.
