@areneacaulem: I'm one of the few believers that while I agree that Hollow Purple is capable of matter erasure, it's got limits. I say this because of two things:
1. The jujutsu society has been trying and failing for many years to destroy cursed objects (particularly Sukuna's fingers). It was said that they tried every possible method available to them and yet failed. This should also cover Gojo's arsenal of techniques which includes Hollow Purple. Thinking on it some more, it would make sense that Gojo would have at least tried Hollow Purple. I know there's probably a special rule or something when it comes to special grade cursed objects, but the point I'm trying to get across is that clearly Gojo's matter/existence erasure has limits.
2. Expounding on that, Gojo should have also been able to use Hollow Purple on the curtain that kept him out during the Tokyo v Kyoto arc. One could make the argument that he didn't want to risk friendly fire, but he has shown the ability to control the size of hollow purple. He could have just shot a small one at an upwards angle to remove the barrier, but didn't. Implying Hollow Purple was not an option.
So, I think Saitama could stop purple somehow.
Now, unto the Garou bit. Just because the physics is the same, doesn't mean the reality is as well. But I don't want to argue about that. Going by what you said, Garou should have no problem whatsoever copying purple. It's simply the utilization of both red and blue, converging to infinites, and creating the sphere. I think the imaginary part comes as an effect of the convergence of the two techniques, and not something that is a cause in itself.
