Grand Admiral Thrawn is on his private shuttle when it shudders and he blacks out. When he comes to, he sees an unknown alien in a blue/black uniform standing next to him, looking at a PADD. It then looks at him and starts talking, saying they found his shuttle in deep space. What does Thrawn do from there?

*Note: This is not a vs thread, this is more of a fanfiction RPG kind of post, which thread to I put it in?

(Bonus: It was Q who brought him across universes)

By not allowing BFR, you're basically nullifying Brutaka's mask power, thereby assuring a JLA victory.

Starfleet wins. Voyager brought back the future armor, and there's no way SF wouldn't use that tech in their new ships (Oh, and retrofitting existing ships isn't out of the question either, as evidenced by Voyager doing so, while stranded no less). Not to mention the extreme range of starship weapons in Starfleet: Photon torpedos can fire at FTL speeds, so that puts them in LY+ ranges, and Phasers can fire from at least 30,000 Km away. Quite simply: Trek ships, if they used the future armor, are too durable and they have too much of a rage advantage for the UNSC. The only possible advantage that the UNSC has are the MACs, which might be enough to dent the future armor, and maybe take down the shields (Then again, in Nemesis [slightly post-Voyager, IIRC], the Enterprise got hit by the struts and/or nacelle of a Warbird and it didn't even register against the shields)

No Caption Provided

The Shadow of Mordor Uruks

Three Captains (One as pictured, one is a guardian, and one is Berserker)

Two Warchiefs (One guardian and one Berserker)

Vs.

No Caption Provided

Klingons (Disregard image, the fight uses TNG-era Klinks)

Four Warriors, each armed with a Bat'leth and a Mek'leth

Kahless, armed with the Sword of Kahless.

To make the fight fair, there are no ranged weapons allowed on either side

For more discussion, let's make the Klingons run a gauntlet and give each Warrior a Disruptor with five shots each, and Kahless one with ten shots. Disruptors do not recharge after each round

Round 1: 30 mook Uruks

Round 2: 15 Veteran Captains

Round 3: 10 Elite Captains

Round 4: 5 Warchiefs

Round 5: The Hand, Tower, and Hammer.

Say I want to show someone who is new to the 'vs' section of this sight, what are the 'official' rules for them? For example: Are Alternate Universes used? Why or why not?

On the ground, Trek Phasers are at least seven orders of magnitude above even the AT-AT cannons. You doubt me? Just look at the battle of Hoth. The AT-ATs barely made a 'poof' in the ice/snow. Phasers can vapourize solid rock roughly 4x4x1 meters volume. Without using the highest setting. Now, if the AT-ATs can't even do that kind of power, then how can the starships fare any better?

@Skaddix: Blasters are not laser weapons. They do not operate on any frequency.

Are you dense? Basic physics specifically states that everything has a frequency. Even physical objects. BTW, don't even think about spouting that "Borg are weak to kinetic attacks" The 'bullets' that Picard shot in Nemesis weren't bullets at all, but rather force fields. That's how Holodecks work. They only replicate objects that the computer assumes that the crew will be taking out of the Holodeck. Hence why some things could exist out of the Holodeck and some things couldn't. Just nipping that on the bud before it starts.

Not only that, but all energy that isn't potential energy is kinetic energy: sound, heat, movement, the like. Again, basic physics.

I don't see how Star-Lord can win. Batman's suit can defend him against whatever element Star-Lord's gun shoots out, and one Batarang can disarm him easily allowing Batman to strike him down.

So, Batman can survive the combine powers of Mr Freeze, Pyro, Red Tornado, and an Earthbender? All amped up to 11? And Star-Lord, who earlier in the thread, was said to have withstood a blast that took out Iron Man, would be disabled by one boomerang? Right.
