This was the 1st comic I bought.  I was really into 80's Superman movies, and got this in a store near my elementary school.

But, my 2nd comic was:

I'm not kidding.  Spider-man #300 - 1st appearance of Venom.

This was my 2nd comic, and the first comic given to me by my best friend.

We both love superheroes, and I really liked Superman movies, but he really was into Spider-man comics, so he gave this one to me.

If I only wasn't young and naive... and kept my comics in good condition...  I left this comic behind somewhere inside my old closet in my old house... sigh...

Those 2 were the only comics I owned for a very long time... until my best friend lent me:

This was the comic that got me into comics.

I remember that the special edition of this comic had really nice smooth glossy paper!  I also remember distinctly watching  the animated show at the same time this comic came out, and I was pretty upset that the cartoon had Wolverine's yellow costume and not his brown.

After this comic, anything with an "X" I started collecting.

Todd McFarlane should sell the movie rights to Marvel Studios.

Or better yet, he should pull a Jim Lee Wildstorm and just sell Spawn entirely to Marvel!

Truth is, Marvel needs Sentry on this story well and healthy, at least until a certain God of War comes back to life so that he can get his revenge.

Marvel needs guys like him to kill off super heroes (and bring them back to life later), it's the new trend that's been happening every other month these days.

Hopefully he kills off Cap; I'd love to see how long Marvel decides to keep him dead before resurrecting him again for their new Civil Peace storyline.

Someone DIES again!?

What the hell?

Why must someone always have to die every single time in comic books, when we all know they'll be brought back to life again later!?

Even Jesus can't keep up with all the resurrections!

This is like the 54th character to die in a comic this month!
