Top New 52 Series'

This is a list of the series from The New 52 that I like the most. This list used to be in order of average highest rating, though now it will change to what I consider the best at the moment. Also from now on series I've not read in a long time or that are cancelled will be removed.

List items

  • #0-1

  • #0-26 (also Annual #1-2). This series started off brilliantly, but has slipped in recent months. I hope that Morrison can improve the quality of the series before leaving, as it would be a shame if he left on a low.

  • #13-26 (also TPB Vol. 1 collecting #1-6, Annual 2). I was persuaded by a friend, and also reviews to try this series, so I bought the first volume, and immediately loved it. I have since collected the series since the start of the Rotworld crossover in issue 13, and have still been enjoying it, and have became fond of the Swamp Thing character. Issue 17 was unfortunately poor, but Snyder's run finished perfectly. I hope that the series will still be as good now that Snyder's left.

  • #1-3

  • #0-26 (also Annual #1-2). By far the best series in the New 52. Both Court of Owls and Death in the Family have been brilliant storylines, but Death in the Family has been simply outstanding, and one of the best storylines in the New 52 so far. I hope that the series gives something even better now that it's finished, but I'd settle for something that's not as good, but still good.

  • #1-3, 5, 14, 17-26. I got this series when it started but when I fell behind with my monthly comics I didn't decide to catch up on this due to the negative feedback. Now that Jeff Lemire is writing the series with Andrea Sorrentino on arts this series is much better, and is currently one of my favourite series.

  • #1-6, 15-26. I'm starting to catch up on this series, but the issues I have read have been amazing, and this is easily the best Wonder Woman series I've ever read.

  • #0-26. This series is brilliant, and has produced some brilliant JL stories. It has however hit a few bumps along the way, so it's not as high as I'd hope, but it's still a very good series, and one of my favourites.

  • (TPB Vol. 1 collecting #1-7)

This is a series I'm only getting in TPB.

  • #0-29. This has been a brilliant series, and has really made me appreciate Aquaman. Geoff Johns is doing an amazing job writing him, and Ivan Reis did fabulous art. Unfortunately Reis has now moved on to Justice League, but hopefully this series stays brilliant.

  • #9-21. This has been a fantastic series, and Jeff Lemire, and Ray Fawkes have been doing a fabulous job writing it. I just love the unique, dark, and mysterious style of the series, and the characters involved are all brilliant.

This is a series I'm only getting in TPB from now on.

  • #1-4. There has only been one issue of this series, but due to it being near perfect, and slightly behind Batman/Superman it's sitting second on this list, although that may change depending on future ratings.

  • #1-6. There has only been one issue of this series, but due to it being perfect, as well as better than Unchained it tops the list, although that may change depending on future ratings.

  • #0-26 (also Annual #1). This is a fantastic series. I'm a huge Batman fan so try and get any Batman series i can, and this is one of the best. I love how it's brought Dick's past back into his life, and have loved seeing him handle it, as well as handling life as Nightwing.

  • #0-26 (also Annual #1-2). This series has been brilliant. Although it has had a couple issues bellow par the overall series is brilliant, and one of the best Flash series I've read.

  • #0-26 (also Annual #1-2). This series started decent but quickly dropped down in quality. Since John Layman, and Jason Fabok joined the team in issue 13 it has became a brilliant series, and I hope it can get even better

  • #0-26 (also Annual #1-2). This series has been brilliant, and Geoff Johns has continued making Green Lantern a fabulous series. He keeps throwing exciting material just when it's needed.

  • #1-10. A brilliant start, and I see this being a tremendous series.

  • #0-26 (also Annual #1). This has been a very fun series, but unfortunately has hit a few bumps along the way. Hopefully though this series will become as good as it used to be.

  • #0-26. This has been a brilliant series, and although it's had a couple of dodgy issues, the rest have been brilliant.

  • #1-4. A brilliant start to a series that I have high hopes for.

This is a series I'm only getting in TPB from now on.

  • #0-26. This is a brilliant series, and although it's far from being one of the best in the New 52 it is still a very fun read. I've loved reading Jason, Roy, and Starfire's adventures, and how Jason's managed to work as part of a team, even if they're a group of Outlaws.
