DCEU characters deals with the struggle of self identify and public acceptance, they fight for their ideology, global threat, or the safety of mankind.
Arrowverse characters deal with boring romance drama or inconsistent trust issue among closest friends, also some disposable villains.
Even Batman and Batman return might be terribly received. It's good for it's time. Imagine people complaining about Keaton killing Joker and goons. And they will be compared to TDK trilogy all the time.
It's a lot different from TT, TTG, and CW shows. But we haven't seen much yet, mostly about Raven and Dick, a little bit of Starfire and a short beast boy tease, overall not bad.
Limited resources lead to limited life, nature has it's capacity and cycle. When the capacity is reached, there will be conflicts and competition, and the superior species survive. That's how evolution works, that's how nature works. Killing half of the universe might seem to work in a few generation, but the population growth will exceed the naturel capacity eventually. Doubling the resources raises the natural capacity but there will always be competition among species. There will always be evolution and extinction. Titan's extinction is cause by their species not being superior enough, just like Krypton. At least General Zod admitted that his only purpose is to save Krypton. Thanos is just a selfish man saving his planet by the name of "saving the universe".
@tricksandtoys: Steppenwolf is fast enough to take down WW and Aquaman at the same time. WW is a bullet timer. He even ripped Cyborg apart. Not sure the durability of nanotechsuit vs apokolypse tech. As long as IW tony can't show superman level feats, Steppenwolf wins.

He ripped apart Cyborg's armour because Cyborg wasn't even trying to defend himself. He was too busy doing his job with the motherboxes.
You don't have to be Superman level to beat Steppenwolf. If WW wasn't nerfed here compared to the other movies, she could have destroy him.
Aquaman is not that fast but he's pretty strong, What i mean is Steppenwolf is able to fight against them easily.
As for Cyborg, i know he's distracted, but i'm focusing on the strength to the metal itself.
