"Alright, listen. You're not my mom. You're not even an adult. And I'm not an idiot." Joey said, gruffly, crossing muscled arms across his chest. His eyes glanced past the Custodian, and then back to her, noting they were still alone. "But you have a point. So here's the deal. I'll bend over for you so that you can wear the Captain's hat and bring order to the team or whatever the hell you want to tell yourself. On one condition." He turned and started walking towards the training room, Zeus telling him what to say as he did so.
"Cut the crap."
Drawing his phone, he plugged in earphones, and put some rap on shuffle, stepping into the training room as he did so. A lightning bolt struck him, and once more, he was Joey the boy, not the man. Walking up to Rhys, he looked him dead in the eyes, Zeus' voice thundering in his mind, guiding his every step. "If you can't accept the fact that somebody on this team is better than you, then you don't deserve to be on the team. Learn your team's strengths, then their weaknesses, and then take the high road- and move on."Letting a bit of himself shine through once more, his smile came about once more. "Team strength. I can do just about anything better than anyone. Team weakness, I gotta take care of all y'all while I do it."
Teasingly, Joey tapped the center of Rhys' chest, and stepped back, summoning a blast of mystic lightning once more. Now a man again, he grinned broadly. "Now, you mentioned training?"
