Universe 1 - part 1 (main heroes)

Imagine if all the multiverses of creation collapsed...if the "Nothing" had won and the single spark of creation had fallen into your hands. And you decided to create new multiverses with all the former characters you knew. And make a whole new mix, with characters separated and united in new universes... like their multiverse versions, but respecting part of the original stories... well, I've done it and loved it as a wonderful exercise creation.
Tell me (with respect) what you think, like or dislike about these new universes, or who is missing or who shouldn't be... Here's the first one, which goes through the present in data from the 90s and it's a champion of the champions collection.
Of course, there are some rules - First: 1,000 characters for each universe. I'm planning to create ten universes and this will take some time, so be patient. And built in!
Rule 2 - I like more realistic stories, so characters especially of Japanese origin (or DC universe) should have a less absurd power level.
Rule 3 - The Earth is not the center of the universe (or at least we tried...) and NY is not the belly button.
Rule 4 - I try to avoid, as much as possible, heroes that are very similar, or with the same power, in the same universe.
PS - 1) sorry for my english!; 2) the texts in each hero profile will only contain the new or different aspects of each character. Needless to say that "Peter Parker was beaten by a radoactive spider", etc...

  • The Greek Amazon is wandering on "man's world" since World War I and has a lot of hidden secrets on her agenda. She claims to come from Temyscira, an island at a pocket dimension on earth where the Greek Gods still exists, even coexisting there with some mortal humans. The secret entry to this magic world is hidden somewhere in Greece.

    An essential part of the Invaders during WW2, she is considered one of the first meta-humans to ever go public.

    She lead the resistance during the Invasion event, and sided with Iron-Man during Civil War, wich she regreted later.

    She is one founding member and leader the facto of the Justice League. A symbol of empowerement of women in all world and Greece's biggest proud.

    WW became the new and main representative of Athena on Earth after the internal war on Sanctuary and lead Athena's knights in conflitcts with other greek goods and representatives of the nordic pantheon.

    Daughter of Zeus and Queen Hyppolita, Diana was born after the hidden event called "Secret Invasion", wich ended with the fall of Atlantis and death of most part of the old gods.

    She has a love and hate relationship witha a man called.... Steve...

  • The chapter that turned upside down Dr. Bruce Banner's life and made him the immortal, feared and indestructible creature known as the "Hulk" is just a small part of a much bigger tragedy, that started in his childhood age, a time when he was abused by his father, also the murderer of his mother.

    With a never-ending battle inside his mind between his two egos, the Hulk tried to calm down and play on the hero side, even being part of the "Defenders". His rage was responsible for non-mensuring powers, matching the creature in strenght even with the ones like Superman, whom he saved from certain death at hands of the creature known as Doomsday.

    But his rage caused already hundreds of civilian deaths. It was too late for redemption, even considering that he was manipulated many times by the Legion of Doom.

    After years of fighting and destruction and the death of her lover Betty Ross (just before the civil War), the heroes decided to aprisioned him in a rocket and send the Hulk to a planet far beyond the galaxy.

    Huge mistake....

  • After spending some years of self depreciating himself working at Daily-Bug, the promising scientist Peter Parker started his stardom at the heroic community working undercover at Cadmus and discovering all genetic manipulations commanded by the Legion of Doom. For achieving that, he moved for some time and lived a couple of years in Metropolis.

    During his last year at the bug, Peter made a strong friendship with the then newly-hired journalist Clark Kent.

    During the Civil War, he started at Iron-Man's side, but chenged sides when Stark insisted on turning public his identity.

    On the last years of his hero career, however, his identity would be discovered and everyday of his life and of his family became a living hell. But at the end, he prevailed as one of the greatest heroes of his time and the most famous of the Titans.

  • The journalist Clark Kent, after a long time working in Metropolis, was mistereously fired and moved to NY hired by the Daily Bug. Despite being a terrible delay on his carreer, there are good points in it: for exemple, in the Big Apple, he built a strong friendship with photographer Peter Parker.

    During the event "civil war", Super was exiled in space and didn't take part of the action, but would be in favour of Batman's side. During this period, he discovers more about his Kryptonian origin and the ancestry his planet shared with the Kree Empire.

    Founding member of the Justice League and world's most popular superhero. A symbol of hope, optimism and strenght for an Earth that discovered that it was not alone in the universe.

  • After spending years fighting crime in his hometown Gotham, he gradually started to interfere in super-human concerns, specially during the Civil War. He was the leader of the rogue group against Tony Stark's Iniative. Always helped the Justice League, but always working on the shadows, never wanting to take part oficially. A role that he trusts to his only childhood hero, Captain America.

  • The most recognizable hero from WW2, Steve Rogers spent 25 years frozen until it was found by Wayne Foundation. One of the leaders during the Invasion, he became the leader of JLA and helps shield to confront Hydra, the biggest terrorist organisation of all time.

    With the help of Falcon and Winter Soldier, he cross the country to fight for the ideals of freedom, democracy and peace, and has a group of followers.

    Sided with Batman during Civil War.

    Has a very difficult relationship and ideological differences with Wonder Woman, the leader of JLI.

  • The top-genius Tony Stark, one of the co-creators of internet, was one of the main masterminds to create the Justice League after the end of the 80's following the "Invasion".

    But years later, his good reputation within the hero community was destroyed after the Civil War, where he lead the obligation to the registration act in a very authoritarian way.

    Responsible for the construction of the Justice Hall, in NY, and the satellite of JLI, wich was only possible with the agreement of all biggest superpower nations in the world.

    Stark has an immense rivarly with Lex Luthor, one of the few men capable of matching his intellect. One of his greatest regrets was his romance with the traitor Black Widow, wich, because of his innocence, stoled his technology and became the "Iron Widow", the the leader of the Winter Guard and greatest hero of the USSR, a coutry that, after spending some years of turbulence in the 90's, resisted and reformed itself.

  • In the mid 60's, during the Cold War, the world was hit by the terrifying news that scentient aliens truly existed. The first contacts and troubles that became public occurred in Japan, when giant monsters stormed the island. And also came the discovery of world's first alien superhero, a non-corporeal god that could put his essence in a red and silver armor and battled those giants, being of fundamental help for the public japanese security agency called Science Patrol.

    Little is known about him, just that he came from a far away galaxy. After some years, he left the planet and let other representatives from his planet to continue his work. The Ultras are important and provisional members of JLJ (Justice League of Japan), the protectos of the archipel.

    Another important information is that they are reluctant allies of the guardians of Oa, and the Green Lanterns are not necessary in that part of the known universe.

  • Despite following the legacy of the late and popular Mar-vell, Captain Marvel will always face the méfiance of her half-kree blood. The Kree Empire, who rules dozens of civilizations beyond their own galaxy (the Large Magellanic Cloud), was the leading force against Earth during the "Invasion" in the mid-80's.

  • The Sorcerer Supreme of the Age of Herores was not suppose to have many relations with the new wave of meta-humans or techno-enhanced beings, but is very present in most of the heroes group - a very helpful persence when called to help the JLI; the founder and mentor of the "non-group" called "the Defenders" and the also the creator of the Midnight Sons of this era. One of the few beings of his Multiverse to have (limited) access to the others. Her lover and most of his enemies, for exemple, are beings from the Universe of Darkness, what we call just as "Universe 13".

  • The ruler of the superpower nation of Wakanda, T'challa is the son of the legendary T'chaka, who took part of the Invaders during WW2 and helped to destroy the apartheid regime in South Africa in the end of the 70's. The new king wants to mainain the opening of his country to the world, but with a condiction: all vibranium in the world must remain at wakandan control and production.

    He is a founding member of JLI and helped Tony Stark in to the creation of the team's satellite. He sided with Stark during the Civil War. Wakanda has troubled relations with the underwater kingdom of Atlantis.

    T'challa is married to a poweful goddess with unborn powers capable to governate the climate.

  • Nor a friend, nor a foe, the Sub-Mariner helped the Invaders during WW2. Tries to balance the internal conflicts of Atlantis with the troubled relationship of his kingdom with the surface.

    He tries to not interfere in human or metahumans business, but often helps his friend Dr. Strange in the Defenders weird missions.

    He hates the Amazons, Wonder Woman and any Greek entity, wich he blames for the sink of Atlantis millenia ago, during the "Secret Invasion".

  • After Hall Jordan became mad and almost destroyed Oa and the

    stability of this universe, the Guardians found a good replacement in Kyle Rayner as GL of the Sol System.

    Member of JLI, he could not interfere or take sides in the Civil War and made a good pair with the definitive Flash, Wally West.

  • Initially a member of the Titans, West took the mantle of the Flash after the death of his uncle, Barry Allen, in the event known as "Secret Crisis".

    He was one of the few survivors who survived the accident that gave to him and to Allen their superspeed powers.

    After some years, he was promoted to Justice League with his pal Cyborg and became a worthy sucessor of Allen's legacy.

  • The first Robin and founder of the rebellious group called Titans (or prejudicely "Teen Titans" by some JLI members).

    Helped Batman during the Civil War, but contributed a lot to the Initiative training and preparing new meta-humans after the battle ended.

    Like his mentor, always prefered to work in the shadows.

  • This little boy is one of the most polemic members of the polemic and unpopular group called "the Titans", the biggert headache to the Justice League and all superhero community.

    He was engaged to the group by the misterious Nightwing and the suspicious Spider-Man, but it's only a 10 year-child. What a bad example for the children and families .... but what a great power of defense Earth has now!

    Like most of the Titans, he took part on Batman's side on the Civil War.

    Did not participate of the Invasion event (was very young), but somehow seems to have a lot of knowledge of this time, like it was close to someone very linked to this scarry chapter of human history.

  • One of the new generation's hero, this misterious boy was recreuited by Japan's Iniative (commonly called Super Hero Association), wich has a polemic structure of classifying their integrants in groups.

    When making a stage on US, he was crucial helping JLI in a lot of battles, but made true friendships with the rebellious Titans.

  • Another anti-hero who, after years of burglary, decided to treat her kleptomania. Even without superpowers, Selina Kyle was considered one of the greatest in this art, and was part of a non-official group called League of Thieves, who organised themselves to plan a lot of historical robberies. Of course, with the rise of the heroic age, they had to put themselves in a higher level.

    Selina had a big crush on her biggest rival, a jerk called Remy le Beau (a regular man here). But, of course, his biggest nemesis, Batman, was her hidden passion.

    It's heard from the grapevine that her atractiveness was the main reason she escaped so many times from the cape-crusader.... or simply machism. But what counts is that she's never been caught.

    After her reformation, and with the help of Iron-Man and Amandda Waller (and without Batman's initial knowledge), she lead a secret league with bad-ass anti-heroes, like a "Dark JL", to make the job that the good guys couldn't do oficially.

    Became the teacher and maternal figure of Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat.

  • The 4th and current Robin proved that he wasn't quite the right choice to lead the newly created team "Young Justice" - not because his formidable skills, but for his rebel and violent persona. The group was created by JLI to be an official and solid school to promote and train young meta-humans and isolate the Titans, but they soon discovered that their leader didn't play by the rules.

  • Refugee from the distant Tamaran, Kory'andr found shelter on Earth and became and important member of the rebellious hero group known as the "Titans", having faced much adventures. After a couple of decades, she had no option but to flee from Earth and assume her role as new queen of her home planet.

  • The klintar symbiote appeared for the first time in the Secret Crisis event, and after turning the life of Peter Parker a hell, has been used by Eddie Brock ever since.

    From villain to anti-hero, Venom has as main enemies the dangerous life foundation and his deadly offspring Carnage. Actually, he kind of tolerates the existence of Spider-Man.

    Became one of the most dangerous members of the "Dark JL", and sided with Iron Man in the Civil War. Became part of the californian branch of JLA Initiative.

  • (universe 1 version: Kamen Rider J)

    Helped to save the East, specially Japan, from a series of alien raids that became frequent after the great "Invasion". Most known by defeating the Fog Mercenary Conquest Organisation alone with his bare own hands.

    Later, joined Sheider, the Kyurangers and the Ultraseven to form the legendary J-League, the japanese branch of JLI.

  • The FBI agent Clint Barton joined Shield after special request from Commander Nick Fury. There, he helped to create the Justice League and became part of the American branch of the team, the JLA, commanded by Captain America.

    He was one of the main resposible for the inclusion of her friend Black Widow at JLI. After her betrayal, they became fiercest enemies.

    In the past, he was the bodyguard of democrat senator Oliver Queen, former mayor of Star City. Queen was his mentor at archery arts, but never realised that Barton would became a super-hero...

  • Scott Lang is not the first man to wear this costume - his predecessor was the genious and retired hero known as Hank Pym, who is also his mentor.

    Much the same as the UCM version.

    Not very well considered by JLA ou JLI, he found much more acceptance by hsometimes asis friend Dr. Strange, who recruited him as an honorable member of the Defenders.

  • One of Captain America's men of confidence, he became one of the most prominent leaderships of JLA, the American brench of JLI.

  • The Human Torch

    One of the first and most well known Invaders who fought against the Nazis, Hydra and Skrulls in WW2, along with Wonder Woman, Captain America, Black Panther, his rival Namor and humans like Logan, Fury, Max Tennyson and Bucky.

    Has disappeared after the 60's, having been hijacked by the agents that created Project Cadmus in the beggining of the 80's, and was freed with the help of the new director, the scientist Reed Richards.

  • Felicia Hardy started as a regular burglar after years of unstable life. even got a promising status in the League of Thieves.

    She got "cat powers" (claws, instinct, bigger strenght, superhuman sense and ability and "7 lives"... and whiter hair?) in an hidden experiment of Project Cadmus, when she was anger with Spider-Man (wich happened frequently).

    She was once lover of Spider-Man before he knew MJ, but Batman, at that time close to Peter, made everything to tear them apart - and succeed. After discovering the relationship between Bruce and Felicia's mentor, the two heroes fought and never worket togheter again - until Peter changed sides in the Civil War.

    Felicia always had in Selina Kyle a maternal figure, and followed her steps when Catwoman started an anti-hero or "Robin Hood" career.

  • Since King Namor had very superficial business and little interest with surface affairs, the daughter of the atlantean criminal known as Attuma is the nation representative in the JLI. But she serves Atlantis, not his father's interests.

    With time, she transformed the hate and prejudice towards her leader, the amazon Wonder Woman, in a open admiration and hidden passion. Wich, of course, creates a conflict with his king.

  • (universe 1 version: Penance)

    A former Titan who split the group in two and was a key-figure of the tragedy in Stamford. He passed the rest of his life as Penance after years in a Shield prision and joined the Suicide Squad.

  • (universe 1 version: only Constance D'Aramis)

    She is the french representative in the JLI, was a wonderful detective and discovered the betrayal of the Black Widow, wich almost cost the life of Tony Stark.

  • The aussie representative of JLI was almost killed during the Invasion and by the hands of the Iron Widow. But survived and endured.

    His biggest enemy was the prejudice he suffered in the 90's after assuming his homossexuality.

  • ALTERNATE VERSION

    This centenary-man is a veteran agent tand one of the first and few men that were born with powers, or a "pure meta-human" and decades later was enhanced with unbreakabler claws by scientists that would create Project Cadmus decades later.

    He had fought in WW1, WW2, as one of the Invaders, and passed years teaching guys like Nick Fury to create an organisation with super beings to protect the world against alien and internal super-menaces. Actually, he is the tutor of the young Naruto, a boy who seems destined to be the biggest ninja of all time.

    Logan passed the last decades residing in Japan, and helped to create the Asian branch of Justice League.

  • ULTIMATE VERSION (Marvel 1610)

    A very talented and potential member for the future of JLI, this "pure meta-human" almost fell in to darkness after his mentor, Charles Xavier, revealed to be a tool for the universal menace called Brainiac.

    With the help of other heroes, she managed to subdue the menace of one of Xavier oldest friends, the villain called "Doctor Polaris".

    Despite of all this fame, she just want to have a normal life and hang out with her boyfriend, the airplane driver Scott Summers - a regular guy.

  • ALTERNATE VERSION

    He is the newest member of the renewed Winter Guard, the soviet response for meta-humans. The metahumans, by accident or "pure" exists to serve the state interests, and Piotr seems to be the right answer after his quest of arresting his older brother, the evil Mikhail.

    But can the innocence and good heart of the young men be a problem for the iron-lead and coldness of the Iron Widow, supreme leader of the team?
