My Guest Characters Wish List for Injustice 3

These are guests who I think would bring some interesting flare to this series and would be enjoyable.

This list is in ascending order with the least wanted at bottom and most wanted at top.

List items

  • Yeah, yeah I know that Ed Boon himself has poured cold water on this, but this is my list. For his weapon or other accessory for his gear set (assuming the gear system as it was in Injustice 2 is retained) I would have it as being the power pole, despite the fact he has never used it as an adult.

Character Power/Trait (O on PS, E on Xbox): O/E + Away D-pad for Super Saiyan, O/E + Down for Super Saiyan God, O/E + Towards for Super Saiyan Blue.

  • He has been featured in a crossover event for the Injustice comics series... so a potential sign of things to come?

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Tommy Oliver (with gear sets changing him to different iterations, Green Power Ranger (MMPR season 1), White Ranger (MMPR season 2), Red Zeo, etc.) Though I've seen him and other Power Ranger-related characters on people's wish lists for the Mortal Kombat series, I must respectfully disagree with putting any PR characters (of which has always been made for a child audience) in any MK game. However, PR (being that it is a superhero franchise) would make a very good fit in the T-rated Injustice series. If there is ever to be a Power Ranger as a guest fighter, the longest serving one Tommy Oliver would be the top choice period.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Considering he was Capcom's original mascot (and also a play on Capcom's own name), it would be nice to see him make the jump from his last fighting game appearance, in the Marvel vs Capcom games, and crossover to do battle with the superheroes of the DC universe. Other fitting Capcom guests if Captain Commando isn't Capcom's representative would be Mega-man or Viewtiful Joe. His weapon/accessory gear piece would be his belt. (Similar to Batman and the Atom)

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Dead or Alive, Warner Bros. will be taking him in ^_^. In seriousness, he would fit given that the Injustice-verse is a darker take on the DC universe and the Robocop franchise as a whole is a darker take on the superhero genre.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Would be interesting if one guest character was Pro-regime as a nice foil to most other characters who were pro-insurgency/Batman.

Character Power/Trait: versions of Lawgiver with O/E + D-pad directions.

  • Worth Noting that Neo was considered for being a guest character in Injustice 2 and the Matrix is owned by Warner Bros. His fighting style would likely include guns (lots of guns) as well as some degree of telekinesis.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • If Spawn couldn't appear, then maybe this Image comics character could be their representative. Considering that he serves as Image's equivalent of the Hulk, perhaps a few moves that are a homage to Hulk's moves in the MVC series could be done.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Yeah, I'm aware that he's in MK11, but who says he can't be in one of the Injustice games too? His weapon/accessory gear piece would be his cloak and chains.

    Character Powers/Trait:

  • Worth noting that Warner Bros. owns both DC comics and Hanna-Barbera, and Space Ghost and other Hanna-Barbera characters have been featured in certain crossover comics (of which Space Ghost specifically was in a crossover with the Green Lanterns).

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Buffy Summers would make a nice addition to the roster of an Injustice game. The fact that this series has been able to continue in the comic format, first with Dark Horse then to Boom Studios, makes it fitting if she were to able to trade blows with some of DC's own superheroes and supervillains. The fact that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a main draw to Warner Bros. own WB Network (now the CW) could certainly make negotiations a little easier.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • From the G.I. Joe franchise. While Some people might complain that a hypothetical moveset for Snake-Eyes would simply be a near copy of Deathstroke's, however, he could be made unique in two ways: Snake-Eyes would have no sort of guns (and instead using shuriken and grenades) and he'd be able to have either Joes to call in for assists similar to how the Leonardo could call in the other Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for assists.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Billy Butcher from Garth Ennis' "The Boys", of which has been adapted into Amazon Studios' television series of the same name, would be a fitting in an Injustice game. As a guy who makes slaying superheroes, granted that latter part is widely stretched in his native series, he would certainly be an interesting contrast to the characters of the DC universe and especially those who are part of the Injustice-verse's Regime, of whom would certainly bring to mind Homelander and the rest of The Seven from "The Boys".

    Character Power/Trait: temporary superpower boost.

  • Well the Nickelodeon owned Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles appeared in Injustice 2, perhaps Nick and WB could work out another arrangement for guest character in Injustice 3. As for the particular iteration of Aang, I'd say that I would want it to be his adult form from the flashback sequences of Legend of Korra. His foldable glider staff would be an interesting weapon/accessory gear piece.

    Character Power/Trait: Avatar State

  • Considering that Warner Bros. owns Cartoon Network, it wouldn't involve too much trouble getting the rights to get Ben Tennyson into an Injustice game.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Could be quite humorous joke character who could lighten the mood in the likely somber atmosphere of Injustice 3 (if it is anything like the other games).

    Character Power/Trait:

  • More specifically the one from the Tekken series. While he is not a superhero, but he could certainly be classified as a vigilante, especially when considering that he acts as a sort of ninja style Robin Hood. It would be weird and highly entertaining to see how this oddball ninja bounces off of the more somber characters of DC.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Considering that he is a self-proclaimed superhero (granted more so modeled on Kamen Rider than any DC and Marvel ones), he would make a fitting addition to an Injustice game.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • I've seen jokes about an Archie comics owned character ever appearing in the Injustice-verse, so I propose a character who is a legitimate superhero. Granted, he is obscure, but I'm sure NRS would be able to make him an interesting fighter.

HIs weapon or accessory would have to be his magical staff that he uses.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Not that I'm demanding for an MK guest, but I wouldn't mind Liu Kang and Reptile.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Not that I'm demanding for an MK guest, but I wouldn't mind Reptile and/or Liu Kang if there hypothetically is to be one or two.

    Character Power/Trait:

  • Hopefully Jordan Peele can work his magic so that Disney's spell can be broken, and the Gargoyles franchise CAN LIVE AGAIN! ^_^ Granted, even then I'm aware that there is a low likelihood of him ever being in an Injustice game due to that franchise being owned by Disney's direct competitor Warner Bros. Perhaps he could have as weapon/accessory gear piece be a tail decoration (similar to what Cheetah has).

However, Gargoyles series creator Greg Weisman has made some buzz about returning to and continuing the series as part of Disney+ streaming service, thus making the likelihood of Disney willing to license any Gargoyles character (if even at all) a far more expensive deal than Warner Bros. would be willing to pay for.
