Because a mad scientist who doesn't turn to crime is called a Telemarketer. :)
Seriously, trying to turn your invention into good tends to either end up making you a "As seen on TV" guy or a stuck in the corporate machine. These super intelligences can't stand that!
Besides, give me super technology over everyone else and hell yeah I'm going to try to take over the world. The world is messed up and only MY intelligence can save it from itself! MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!
So I have an iPad and read the entire series. To be honest I have to say I was hoping the thing would actually start being interesting. Honestly the first... I want to say three volumes were just meh. I felt like I was reading a webcomic, and not a very good one either.
I have to say there were deffinetly some fun points but overall not worth the money.
The GAME on the other hand, a total retro throwback and lots of fun, though play the Demo and see if it's up your alley. (So far I've only played the Demo but enjoyed it immensly)
I didn't grow up with Marvel, and as such I didn't have any "Warm Childhood memories" to color my comic reading of the X-men. As such by the time I got to them they were really all over the place. So some segments I like, others I didn't. Over all I can ignore them completely no worries.
Hmm... I'll have to check this out and see what my 2 year old thinks. I have to ask, is there a dance/chase sequence? If there's no music and things running around on screen she probably won't like it. :)
That's a good thing/bad thing. Luckily my daughter is too young to really care how bad this might be. So maybe I'll watch. :)
Now I've learned that very few of my old Saturday Morning cartoons can stand the test of time. One of the only ones I can recall seeing as an adult and not go "What the hell was I thinking?" was Exo Squad. That was a good show and still is. Good, not great. :)
