@makhai: My only concern with Anything Goes is that it lacks all the protection from cheap bullshit and unfun shenanigans. If we do Ubers, we should just do Ubers. Stay in the tier format, and we'll get these fairly standard clauses:
Swagger Clause: Swagger is banned
Mega Rayquaza Clause: You cannot mega evolve Rayquaza
Sleep Clause Mod: Limit one foe put to sleep
Species Clause: Limit one of each Pokémon
OHKO Clause: OHKO moves are banned
Moody Clause: Moody is banned
Evasion Moves Clause: Evasion moves are banned
Endless Battle Clause: Forcing endless battles is banned
@jaken7: @higorm: Nice battle. Very close match. I think Jaken could have taken it though if he didn't waste so many moves trying to Atk up against Skaromy after he knew that it would just whirlwind him out.
The 2nd Swords Dance on turn 30 was a misclick. It was meant to be Return, and that would've more or less taken care of Skarmory. All of the Swords Dances after that were actually done in anticipation of a Whirlwind, because Earthquake wouldn't work and I was trying to preserve Diggersby's health as much as possible by avoiding the Life Orb trigger (my only two options were Quick Attack - which Skarmory is resistant to - and the aforementioned Return - which really needs that buff to be useful against Skarmory because, of course, he's resistant to it as well. Neither were worth the health loss at the time). Wasn't until Diggersby's health was in the red that I said screw it and started attacking Kamikaze style, and it was that set of plays that actually allowed me to break free of the Hydro Pump/Whirlwind/Roost on the Switch combo trap that was draining the PP from Rotom-Wash's best STAB move.
