New York police chief and ally of Spider-man. The father of Gwen Stacy. He died saving a child from falling concrete during a battle between Spider-man and Doctor Octopus.

Former classmate of Peter Parker at Midtown High School. After high school he became a decorated soldier in the US army before an accident in the field caused him to lose his legs. He later bonds with the Venom symbiote as a way to get back into the field, becoming Agent Venom.

Former classmate of Peter Parker at Midtown High School. Went on to marry and later divorce classmate Harry Osborn. They have one child together, Normie Osborn. She is the step-sister of Mark Raxton AKA Molten Man. She later became the CEO of Alchemax.

Was the publisher of The Daily Bugle where he strived to blacken Spider-man's reputation by casting him as an unhinged vigilante, falsely accusing him of crimes and misdeeds. During this time he hired private detective MacDonald Gargan, put him through genetic engineering, turning him into the Scorpion. The Daily Bugle is later bought out by Dexter Bennett and Jameson becomes Mayor of New York for several terms before resigning and starting the F.A.C.T news channel. He is the father of John Jameson.

Dexter Bennett is the owner of The Daily Bugle, having bought J Jonah Jameson's controlling shares. He turned the newspaper into a scandal sheet named 'The DB'. In response Robbie Robertson and many others leave the paper to work at competitor Front Line.

Originally the editor-in-chief at The Daily Bugle, Robertson acted as a voice of reason in J Jonah Jameson's campaign to discredit Spider-man. Former classmate of Lonnie Thompson Lincoln AKA Tombstone. Witnessed Tombstone murder a contact and testified against him 20 years later but the judge is on the Kingpin's payroll and Robertson serves 3 years for withholding evidence. He shares a cell with tombstone who makes his life miserable and breaks his back. Robertson is later given a pardon after saving a civilians life from Tombstone and makes a full recovery. When The Daly Bugle is bought out by Dexter Bennet, Robertson moves to competitor Front Line, becoming their new editor. Father of Randy Robertson.

Originally an investigative journalist for The Daily Bugle. Peter Parker occasionally accompanied Urich on assignments while working as a photographer. He later leaves The Daily Bugle and starts his own newspaper named Front Line. Uncle of Phil Urich.

Was the secretary of J Jonah Jameson at The Daily Bugle. Met Peter Parker when he was a freelance photographer at the newspaper and they dated for a short time. Went on to marry Ned Leeds. After the death of Ned Leeds she became one of the top investigative reporters at The Daily Bugle and remained an employee when it was bought out by Dexter Bennett. She later went on to have a long romantic relationship with Flash Thompson.

A reporter at The Daily Bugle, he later went on to marry colleague Betty Brant. Was brainwashed by Roderick Kingsley (Hobgoblin) into pretending to be him and acting out crimes in his place. This caused strain on Leeds' marriage and Betty begins a flirtation with Flash Thompson. Once Kingsley decided Leeds was no longer needed, he murdered him.

Was a journalist working at Front Line. She briefly dated Randy Robertson before starting a relationship with Phil Urich. After it was revealed that Phil Urich was secretly a super-villain she broke up with him but she lost her job because of her association with him and she moved to the West Coast.

An astronaut and the son of J Jonah Jameson who is immensely proud of him and considers him an American hero. He was saved by Spider-man when his craft malfunctioned on re-entry. This contributed to J Jonah Jameson's resentment of Spider-man heroism. While on the moon he found the mythical Godstone which turned him into the lycanthropic Man-Wolf. He later assisted She-Hulk in signing up heroes for the Superhero Registration Act and the two eventually married but ultimately separated.

The love of Peter Parker's life. Originally set up on a blind date with Peter by Aunt May, but the two parted ways and peter began dating Gwen Stacy. After Gwen's death the two reconnected, dated on and off for years and eventually married.
